Fun time!

We had a lot of fun! The tour touches on all the key parts of downtown and Lauren was very knowledgeable about all the history and buildings, so if you're curious, you can learn even more. The food was filling and gave a good look into the culture and inventions of the Texas/Dallas food scene. There's a lot of walking, so be ready to work up an appetite. But, if you want to cover all of downtown, this is definitely the way to do it.

Downtown Dallas Taste of Fun

It was wonderful to see and learn about downtown Dallas and taste the foods created there. The tacos were my favorite, and my daughter said the BBQ stop was her favorite food on the trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and it was an all around great time.

Fabulous Food and History Tour

This tour was fantastic! Lauren is very knowledgeable, patient and polite. We explored the downtown area and its highlights (approximately 2 miles of walking) and made 4 food stops. Please note - come hungry…as each food stop is a complete meal. I was full by stop 3 and had to pack up the food at stop 3 and 4. I highly recommend this tour and Lauren!!

Fantastic Food and History Tour

Lauren was AMAZING! She is extremely knowledgeable of the Dallas history. The tour was approximately 2 miles of walking and included 4 food stops. I was full by stop 3 so I ended up getting the food at stops 3 and 4 boxed up. The food portions are not sample size...it is a meal at each stop. I would highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Lauren.

Great way to experience Dallas if you’re new to the city or unfamiliar with the history

Had the best time! It wound up just being the tour guide and me but we had a blast. All food stops we went to were great and I got to experience a lot of the Dallas food culture. I learned a ton about the history of Dallas and the local landmarks. Tour was about three hours in total and I got a lot of steps in. I’m new to Dallas so this was a great way to see the city. Highly recommend!

Wild Texas Taste Trail: Downtown Dallas Food Tour

The food tour was awesome. Lauren was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great information on the history of dallas culture. The food was great and we got to try full dishes not just samples. Lauren sources the restaurants from locally owned and operated businesses. 100% recommend the tour and be sure to bring your appetite!
