Cancellation

Cancellation from the agency because of a storm in the desert . it was an important moment for me because it was my birthday!😥 but it is not the agency’s fault

Magic

All my expectations have been met. My encounter with Tunisia and its people was magical. Special thanks to Moumou, our guide, man of heart, kindness and generosity. An ambassador of his country who knows how to share his love of country.

Must see. Then access to the Sahara.

Discovering these cave villages was a fabulous experience. Friendly Welcoming with breakfast of Berber bread dipped in oil and honey. Delicious with tea. I had to turn down a Berber bread as a gift because we already have full board at the hotel. I took the opportunity to buy a jar of this good honey. Otherwise, you have to know it's a long day. You must leave early (from the hotel at 4:30 am with return at 6:00 pm). But it's definitely worth it.

Amazing experience - worth every penny

Today we had an amazing trip to Ksar Ghilane. After booking, we received all the necessary information in advance—via ticket and WhatsApp—a day before the trip. In the morning, our tour guide and driver picked us up directly from our hotel in Djerba. On the way to the mainland, we stopped for coffee and a baguette. After about two hours, with a few photo stops along the way, we arrived at the Ksar desert and the Ksar Ghilane Oasis. We had also booked two camels (optional), which gave us a truly authentic experience of walking through the desert. Alternatively, you can choose quad bikes or simply relax at the oasis and enjoy the scenery and local culture. At the oasis, we swam in the natural spring lake and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Our next stop was the village of Matmata, famous for its unique underground houses. Later, we visited the actual filming location of Star Wars, which was a real highlight. In the evening, we headed back to Djerba, tired but happy. It was an incredible day, and for just €75, it was absolutely worth it. A special thanks goes to our tour guide Tahar—charming, multilingual, and truly knowledgeable—and to our skilled driver, who took us there and back safely.

To do absolutely

To be done exclusively with a guide. Winding road. Discover the wealth of nomadic peoples. Don't forget the swimsuit, hat and sunscreen. Attempt to experience a walk on a camel case

Very mixed by the oasis of Ksar Ghilane

We were praised for the beauty of the Ksar Ghilane oasis. Very disappointed and mixed, a kind of greenish slob with questionable cleanliness, some shops. Far from the dream clichés...

A little disappointed by this excursion

We had heard about Ksar Ghuilaine's oasis and the hot spring to bathe in. In fact it is only a large greenish pool where you dare hardly swim

Mixed experience

A little disappointed, a little lame camel ride that doesn’t last much time it starts maybe 15min to stop for 10min and it resumes to finish. It would be nice to have lunch in a real local village instead of this place built for tourists. The meal was very light for our table of 6. A guy in the group apparently had money stolen by one of the guides in the SUV. You learn two three things here and there but I don’t know a slightly weird atmosphere shared by the whole group I was with. The landscapes are beautiful etc but it is really a lot of km for some views and little info. A distance between the guide and us.
