The tour was great and the tourguide was super! He brought us to the right places so we were able to see 3 types of animals!😍 He gave us also a lot of information about the wales and dolfins we spotted. Even when the animals would go diving. We also were inpressed by the way he had respect, and talked with a lot of respect for the animals. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
It was a perfectly organized trip to the sperm whales. We were lucky and could observe 2 male sperm whales at the water surface after a short wait. It was an impressive experience. Our guide explained a lot to us about the sperm whale group living here. Unfortunately, there were a few small boats on site that let snorkelers jump into the water. However, our boat was mindful of keeping the distance to the whale as booked: Highly recommended💪👌👍🐳 On the return trip, we were lucky and were able to observe a group of dolphins for 20 min. 🐬
First of all, I would like to note that whoever books a whale or dolphin tour definitely wants to see them for their money. We saw whales on this tour and it was one of the best experiences of my life. And then it is only logical that the guide does everything possible so that you see them, and yes, that includes following them. On our tour, you could swim with the whales, accompanied by a guide. I didn't think I could do it myself, but it was doable. And I must say, we were definitely in the middle of the action for 3 hours, but I didn't have the feeling that it bothered the whales. Rather, they were curious and sometimes even played with the swimmers. The guides were super; they explained a lot when asked and put a lot of effort into making sure we definitely saw whales. By the way, it was a speedboat and it does NOT have a restroom. Accordingly, I didn't get thirsty. We were lucky and it was cloudy, but if the sun is shining, take sun-protective clothing with you. Think about swimwear and preferably water shoes. You have to walk through the water up to just above your knees to get onto the boat. If you have a GoPro, take it with you. We got beautiful underwater footage because of it. The only negative thing is that I don't find the price of approx. 120 euros per person justified. And yet I would like to thank you for everything. But at that price, it remains a one-time, but wonderful experience.
Unforgettable experience, it was a feast for the eyes. Our guide went out of his way so that we could see whales. We spent a long time near her while respecting them as much as possible, unlike other boats.
Incredible experience in Mauritius, departing from Flic en Flac! 🌊 Observing and swimming with the dolphins was magical, the snorkeling behind the coral reef was magnificent, and the passage at Crystal Rock was simply spectacular. The barbecue on Île aux Bénitiers was delicious, and especially a big thank you to the crew: a top-notch, professional, and very warm staff. I highly recommend it! 🌴✨
We booked the whale and dolphin tour (including snorkeling and drinks) and were rather disappointed overall. According to the description, drinks should be included, but we were not offered anything throughout the tour. We also assumed that we would then snorkel/swim with the dolphins as part of the tour, but were not asked if we wanted to go into the water, and there was no explanation for this. Was also better in the end, as super many boats and tourists were everywhere the ones almost “hunting” animals. The tour was fine in the end, but for us it was absolutely not the price-performance ratio. In addition, the guide barely spoke and gave very little information, which significantly reduced the experience. We do not recommend the tour.
Thank you for your valuable review. Let's go over all the procedures we have in place for all our excursions: our briefing by our skipper with all our guests do mention that drinks are always available on the boat and like on all our trips, all what is to be done is simply to ask to be served. As per your feedback by WhatsApp, the skipper did mention that and you did confirmed drinks were readily available. Swimming with dolphins is of course included in the activity, however for the safety of all, this decision rests upon the skipper appreciation of all factors at this time to ensure the safety of all guests. As you rightly mentioned, the number of boats that were present on that spot was a risk hazard and the credit goes to the skipper for taking that decision. We are not the type of suppliers that will rush in as predators after the dolphins. Making your holidays fun is up to us as well as reducing the risks to keep you safe.
Absolutely amazing whale watching experience! 🐋 I loved every minute of it. The crew was not only friendly and professional but also deeply respectful of the whales and the ocean. Unlike some other a**holes who break the law and let people snorkel near the animals (which disturbs them), this company followed all the rules and kept a proper distance. You could really feel their love and respect for nature. It was a truly ethical and unforgettable experience — I’d recommend it 100%!
The guide was very knowledgeable about naval biology. He knew so much about the animals and was happy to share his knowledge with us. All in all, he was a mixture of an actor (he told interesting and captivating) and university professor (in terms of his knowledge), which I think is ideal for a guide. We had seen a group of sperm whales, but also dolphins and - while snorkeling (which I really recommend) - also a ... Mura eel! That was great. The whole morning was great. It is problematic to do whale watching in Mauritius because the whales are very crowded and hunted by the providers and tourists. But this provider is characterized by a lot of empathy towards the whales and cares about their welfare. So - if whale watching in Mauritius, then here.
Trip ended 45mins before it was supposed to end. On the way back from the whale watching, they just kept going in the direction of the beach where the boats were at. And After 20mins of trying to find dolphins on the way back, they didnt gave us any info, just went back to port 45mins earlier. Also the whale watching was kind of macabre, 10+ boats chasing one whale and circling it in. Wasnt fun for us, nor the whales.
We had some reservations at first, as there were very few reviews, but booked the tour anyway – and were not disappointed! Directly after booking we received a confirmation via WhatsApp, which was very straightforward. It was planned to start at 7:00 a.m., in fact it started at 7:30 a.m. Overall we were on the water for about two and a half hours and were offered a drink. After about 30 minutes we saw the first whales – a really impressive experience! Later, even a dolphin appeared. The tour was really great overall and the crew very friendly. The only small criticism: For our taste, the ride should have been a little longer. And a snorkel stop was unfortunately not included. Important: Definitely bring waterproof clothing, as the high swell caused water to come on board. Nevertheless, absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to watch whales!
