I absolutely recommend this trip!!!! Fantastic in all ways.
We had such a wonderful experience on this boat tour yesterday! We were lucky enough to see so much wildlife — loads of puffins, dolphins, seals, and even one minke whale, which was absolutely incredible. Seeing all of these animals in their natural environment made the whole trip feel really special. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and created a great atmosphere throughout the journey. A special mention as well for how proactive and thoughtful they were — during booking they had suggested taking the “Stugeron” tablet for sea sickness, especially for anyone prone to motion sickness. They were very kind in pointing it out beforehand, but I ignored the advice (completely my fault!) and did end up feeling a little unwell during parts of the trip. So for anyone like me who can get sea sick, definitely take their recommendation seriously and take the tablet beforehand. Other than my own avoidable mistake, the experience itself was fantastic and something I’d highly recommend!
Was definitely worth the trip. Captain was very knowledgeable about the area. If he saw something he would slow down turn around so everyone could see it. Would do it again for sure
It was simply great. A relaxing tour around the Blasket Islands, which was already fantastic on its own. Then we saw dolphins, a minke whale, various birds, seals, and red deer. Our guide shared his knowledge about the history of the Blasket Islands and the wildlife throughout the entire duration. Here, work is done with respect for nature, which I really appreciated. Great view from the lookout on top of the boat. Thank you, it was a highlight of my trip to Ireland.
Was a great time both the captain and his staff was very knowledgeable on different birds history of the islands
It has been a very nice experience. the best way to explore this beautiful area. the staff is friendly and ready to help us to get the most from the trip
Had a great experience and time on the morning tour! Got to see 2 types of dolphins and Minke whale. I'd never seen any type of whale before so I was delighted. I like the fact that the boat was a bigger size than the other boat options from dingle like sea safari. It felt safer and we didn't have to wear any provided rain gear or life jackets (unless going to the rib for transfer). Really enjoyed the information and had great fun. We took sea-sickness tablets before which was a great move for when it was a bit more choppy near the great blanket island. Great value for money. Tip: Very warm clothes and sunscreen needed!
It was all very well organized. The guide had a huge knowledge of life at and in the sea and could infect with his enthusiasm. We have seen so many dolphins, whales and seals. An unforgettable experience!
Extraordinary! On August 11, 2025, we saw seals, dolphins and whales! The guide helped us get on and off the boat and made the effort to help us understand his explanations despite the language barrier.
The tour was an absolute success. We watched Dolphins, Minke whales, seals and lots of seabirds in their natural habitat. John was a great guide and provides inside knowledge of the animals, the landscape and the country.
