Dolce Vita 5Terre&Portovenere: Full Day Tour with Lunch

Beautiful way to see Cinque Terre. The staff was exceptional, knowledgeable, friendly and provided a full day of fun. We got close to the towns viewing them without the crowds. They provided a delightful lunch and we took advantage of snorkeling and swimming from the boat. You won't be disappointed.

Our family had a perfect day on the Giulietta. The boat was beautiful. Diego and Jacoba were very passionate and knowledgeable about the area. The lunch was probably the best meal we had in Italy (especially the pesto!). This was our family’s favorite day in Italy. I would highly recommend.

Our boat cruise was truly one of the highlights of our trip! We did a daytime cruise, and Captain Diego met us in Monterosso for an incredibly smooth and easy pickup. Before we headed out, Diego let us know that if we were flexible, the water conditions would be much better closer to La Spezia. We trusted his judgment and told him to do whatever he thought was best—and wow, we are so glad we did. The water was absolutely stunning: calm, crystal clear, and the most vibrant blue. We had the most amazing swims. Our steward, Jacopo, was also incredible. While Diego navigated the boat, Jacopo told us the history of Cinque Terre and the surrounding area, which made the experience even more special. Both Diego and Jacopo were so easy to be around. They made us feel completely comfortable asking endless questions about the area, local life, and recommendations. Lunch was another highlight. Diego puts so much care into the food he serves, using ingredients based on what the land naturally provides and what’s in season. He explained how the menu changes depending on what is freshest and best for his guests, which made everything feel so thoughtful and authentic. And the homemade jam made by Diego was absolutely delicious! One thing I would say to future guests: trust your captain—he truly knows best. If Diego asks you to be flexible with the schedule, Trust him! he guided us to the calmest and most beautiful waters, and it made all the difference. I was initially a little worried about traveling between Monterosso and La Spezia, but it was completely seamless. The train system was easy to use, and Diego and Jacopo even gave us great restaurant recommendations in the area. We cannot thank them enough for making our cruise so memorable. Their knowledge, hospitality, and genuine care made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

This was the best boat trip I’ve ever taken, and my friends agreed, mostly because of the Captain Diego and mate Jacopo, who are perfect for their jobs mixing humor with genuine care for our safety. Diego and Jacopo were very knowledgeable about the area and its history relating all to us with enthusiasm and passion for this area. Our group of 4 mature women from the US shared this trip with 6 young people from France and the young energy was contagious and fed by Jacopo and Diego. who were acutely attuned to our needs. The lunch served was presented beautifully, it was delicious, fresh and healthy. Beer and wine was abundant. All I can say is this was a fun day in the sun and sea.

This was a perfect day! From the communication ahead of time to the final docking, this was a top notch experience! Diego and the team were welcoming , kind, and shared a lot of great information on the area. We were the only English speakers and they worked extra hard to ensure we understood the info they were sharing. The lunch was delicious, the snorkeling was so much fun and the wine was very good! It was clear that they cared about the region, the guests and our experience. I would totally recommend this operator and tour to anyone I know coming to Italy! Thanks again!!

This private boating excursion was the perfect finish of a long day of walking the Cinque Terre trails! Diego and Marco shared some beautiful history of the region and were overall just delightful! The waters were a bit choppy but Diego guided us through to the quiet Gulf of Poets for an enjoyable swim and laid out a delicious charcuterie board and Italian wine! (Message: Don’t cancel if the waters seems choppy … they make it work!) A perfect afternoon! Our group highly recommends these hosts under any water conditions! Highly recommend this company for a boat day in La Spezia! They were so friendly and helpful, and they do such a great job at showing people around the area and creating an enjoyable experience! Also the food served on the boat is absolutely delicious!

This is a must do event for your trip! The crew was so kind and were so fun to give us a great history background of the area. The food was amazing and who doesn’t love a private tour from a local?! We were treated like queens and enjoyed our evening so much.
