Al Janoub Stadium was the second among the eight stadiums for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, after the renovation of Khalifa International Stadium. It was designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid (1950–2016). The stadium features a curvilinear postmodernist and neo-futurist design. The appearance of the roof was inspired by the sails of traditional Dhow boats, used by pearl divers from the region, weaving through currents of the Persian Gulf.

Doha Desert Safari! (Guides Ahmad and Jasim)

Alhamdullilah, I visited Doha for the first time with some of my family, we embarked and completed the trip to one of qatars natural wonders ; the sand dunes, in the area near the inland sea. It was a thrilling experience that we all will reminisce and cherish for years to come. Our guides (Ahmad and Jasim) were extremely welcoming and gracious hosts who shared with us, a once in a lifetime, and jaw dropping experience. They had a warmth about them that put our unrest to ease. There experience and safety precautions supported us in our various expeditions, namely: camel ride, sand boarding and of course dune bashing. Inevitably both guides were very respectful extremely accommodating to the needs of some of us (a baby and younger children) Ultimately it was a pleasure having them as our guides and made our trip all the more enjoyable. I personally enjoyed the experience thoroughly and would love to come again. Inshallah would recommend to all adventure and desert lovers out there! 🌵🐪

Great family activity - for kids too

Took a crew with my young daughter who was very excited and enjoyed the desert tremendously, but also got quickly tired out. Abid greatly accommodated all our requests and made sure she went home with lasting memories.

Superb tour with Ahmed

We joined the Doha Desert Safari: Sunset, Sunrise, Camel, Sand Boarding, Inland Sea tour led by Ahmed, and it was absolutely superb from start to finish. Ahmed was professional, friendly and made the whole experience enjoyable, safe and memorable. He was punctual, knowledgeable and ensured everything was well organised throughout the trip. The desert views were stunning, especially during sunset and sunrise, and the activities were great fun. The camel ride, sand boarding and visit to the Inland Sea made for a truly unforgettable experience. What stood out most was Ahmed’s excellent hospitality and driving skills in the desert. He made us feel comfortable at all times and went the extra mile to make sure we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Qatar. Thank you, Ahmed, for an amazing experience.
