Discovering Puerto Rico: Lifestyle, Art, and Cultural Tour

Description
Get ready to be a local. If you enjoy Island vibes, visiting local spots or just like taking pictures in random places, then this tour is for you. Learn about our history. We usually start with a city tour of Old San Juan, where you'll see castles and forts built by Spain in the 1500s to fight pirates or enemies that wanted to invade. We stop by all the main sites. Next we'll cruise down the beautiful coastlines and stop at some beaches, all beautiful in their own way. We will not stop at any of the beaches long enough to go swimming. Next, feel our energy. Art is very important on this island. This is why we take you through a town covered with art, where local artists showcase their talent with beautiful murals. Lastly, taste the traditional fritters in Loiza like Alcapurrias, Bacalaitos, Empanadillas, and more. You may even taste our local beer like medalla, magna, or ocean lab. Loiza is a town with a bit more of African Culture. I'm excited to meet you - see you soon!

We will be taking a City Tour of Old San Juan, passing by the Capital Building, castles, forts, city walls, cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, monuments, the Governors Palace, Fortaleza street, and more.
Loiza is a very authentic part of the island. The food, music and culture is what Loiza is known for. This town is on the coast. Some beaches here are hidden so it is better to go with a local guide like myself to show you around. Loiza is where us Puerto Ricans go on the weekends just to chill and relax. Here you will find more of our African Culture.
Santurce is a very unique neighborhood in the City of San Juan, covered with street art like graffiti and murals. Here we will be walking 3-4 blocks. You will get the story behind some of the paintings. This place has great nightlife on the weekends.

this was my partners second time on the tour and they treated it like the first because it was just that fun I feel like I saw the whole island from 9 am to 2:30 I would highly recommend and Stephanie is the best tour guide anyone can ask for so knowledgable and down to earth this tour is very unique in its authenticity and it was a great way to start our vacation!
Fantastic tour! Stephanie was very knowledgeable about the history, art and culture of San Juan. She answered every question and made our trip unforgettable.
Even if you have been to Puerto Rico before this is a great tour for the history of San Juan, exploring two places ,Loiza and Santurce, that you would probably never go on your own. Stephanie, our guide is knowledgeable and definitely has a great love for " the enchanted island" She also gave us terrific recommendations fir restaurants! Highly recommend!!!
Great experience. Three different areas was the perfect amount of travel for one day. Our guide, Stephanie, was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Stephanie was a pleasure to be with. She’s knowledgeable and fun to be around. A great tour to see parts of the San Juan area that most tourist would never see. Highly recommend!
I feel like the tour was overpriced to basically drive by things and grab lunch. There was not much that we saw in Loíza. We did catch lunch at a location that happened to have a beach behind it so that was the highlight of the tour but people were torn between getting food and going to the beach. I honestly don’t recommend this tour. It fell a little flat for me. That food wasn’t amazing. The tour did include water and accupurria for each person. And the tour guide did accommodate by taking us to a bakery at our request.
This was one of the best tours that I had , we stoped to take pictures, ate food at authentic local spots and our tour lady name Stephanie was awesome and she was very knowledgeable and it was very educational at the same time. I would definitely recommend this to my own family when they come to Puerto Rico.
It was lovely to see things and not have to worry about fighting traffic or parking. You get a few moments at each spot to take photos. You will stop for lunch while in Loisa. It's a great tour for either your first or second day in town as it will give you a good lay of the land and great suggestions.
Great tour with s little bit of everything. Stephanie was so professional and knowledgeable.
Stephanie our tour guide was amazing. She had so much knowledge of Puerto Rico past history. Her personality was courteous and personable. She was truly a joy and fun to be with . I will truly recommend her.
