Meiji Jingu is a shrine which has the most worshippers in Japan and is one of the most popular sightseeing spots. Its vast temple is surrounded by greenery and is the city's oasis which is enjoyable for both locals and tourists. Enjoy the spiritual atmosphere.
Takeshita Street / Omotesando: Takeshita Street and Omotesando are both Japan's leading fashion streets. Takeshita Street, the epicenter of youth culture, is filled with people all year round, with colorful and pop-up shops lined up in tight rows, and Harajuku's cute culture overflowing. Omotesando will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2020, and as one of Japan's leading fashion streets, various fashionistas come and go. Come and see for yourself the city and its people that continue to spread trends!
Tsukiji fish market used to prosper between 1935 to 1983 as the largest wholesale fish market in Japan. It closed down in 2018 and moved to Toyosu but the historical land of Tsukiji is still appreciated by the locals. There are still many shops in this old market which are busy with tourists looking forward to eating the delicious seafood.
Tokyo Tower was built in 1958 and is Tokyo's symbol. It has a strong presence amid the crowded buildings, even in a city as large as Tokyo. Although the newer tower, Skytree, is a taller building than Tokyo Tower, people are still attracted to Tokyo Tower's majestic appearance.
Sensoji is Tokyo's oldest temple with the large red lanterns that have become the symbol of Asakusa. The gorgeous red buildings are worth seeing and the temple is a famous sightseeing place where a majority of people visit when they come to Tokyo. On the way to the main temple at Nakamise street, you will find a variety of stores that sell souvenirs found only in Japan. The area is always crowded with people, no matter the season.

Minako was a wonderful guide. She met us at our hotel and showed us how to navigate the Tokyo subway system. She then took us on a whole day tour of Tokyo combining culture and shopping experience for my teenagers. My husband is interested in watches, she even sent us information on the Seiko Museum after the tour, so we can go in a different day.
This was a great way to jump into exploring Tokyo. We book this 8hr tour for the day we arrived. Haruo was a great guide. He was able to get the new and the old into this trip. My husband and I was very interested in the historical sites and since we were traveling with teens Haruo was able to add fun city things along with some shopping at anime shops, which they loved. He also helped us learn more on the metro system which could be very intimidating. Riding the subway from one place to another help get us more comfortable with the transportation system.
Maki provided us with all the tips to have a wonderful experience in Japan. This was essential for our trip. Additionally, she is knowledgeable, kind, friendly, and warm.
What a fabulous day with Hideaki Murayama. He was such an incredible guide. Very flexible. His knowledge was impressive and his English outstanding. I love the details and the route we took, visiting all of Tokyos highlights. Lunch was super fun and he was so mindful of our gluten allergy. I highly recommend this tour and Hideaki Murayama as a guide. Thank you for a wonderful day!
My fiance booked a tour for our first day in Tokyo and I was skeptical at first but our tour guide Kaz quickly changed my mind. She not only helped us out with the day of the tour but also answered many questions go help us navigate throughout our entire trip such as rules and customs. Kaz was very good at explaining things and helping us understand the culture and reasoning behind things further than any infographic could. If either of us mentioned that we would like something Kaz always remembered and was quick to point it out when the opportunity would arise. Kaz was great and created a great memory for our visit to Tokyo.
We booked this tour to make our first full day in Tokyo exciting and clear. We have never been before and did not know where to even begin! Thankfully, our guide Minako made the day wonderful and cheerful. We had a lovely time and she was so knowledgeable about all the various places we chose. We even learned how to use the subway much better and it helped us feel more confident for the rest of our trip. Thank you so much!
Take what a gentleman and very knowledgeable we had a great day with take .💙
Great tour with Osamu! Very knowledgeable and showed us amazing places in Tokyo. Very nice and attentive. Definitely a positive experience in Tokyo thanks to Osamu
Osamu was amazing! He was extremely welcoming, accommodating, and informative.
We had a great day in Tokyo with our private tour guide, Tetsu. Our tour actually started before our tour when Tetsu (miyakobo) contact us. A few days before, he wanted to know what we had done and seen or what we would like to see in Tokyo. Then he worked really hard to find all the things that we requested and recommended other things that happened in the evening after our tour ended. He brought us this really cool book about Tokyo at night of things we could do. We were staying in Shinjuku, so we didn’t really want to tour much of Shinjuku since we had seen a lot of it. He even recommended things we could do on the other days. He found a flower carpet exhibition that was ending the next day and recommended that we go there. It was amazing. I was getting pretty tired by the end of the tour and he knew the way to every elevator in escalator so I didn’t have to climb any more stairs. He had a really good mastery of the English language, communicate communicated well, and I even understood some of our jokes. Our tour had ended and we asked him where we could go to get a beer. He walked us there, and we invited him to join us. He wasn’t getting paid, but he ordered some fun food and we had a great drink together.
