The Dune Blanche, 40 minutes from the centre of Dakhla, you will cross a track that is sure to plunge you into another dimension. You will finally reach a site of majestic grandeur. A dune of white sand overlooking Dakhla Bay, accessible only at low tide. For the more motivated, you can enjoy a panoramic view from the top of the dune. A perfect moment for children too, who will be delighted to run in the sand after the crabs and watch the pink flamingos close up.
Just 1 hour from the Dune Blanche, you will follow the bay to reach the so-called Royal Beach of Porto-Rico, one of the most beautiful beaches in Morocco. Its white sand and crystal-clear waters will enchant any traveller who wants to enjoy a swim in a desert environment.
Imlili, a unique ecological area, lies 100 km south of the town. At the bend in a dune, you'll discover pools of water naturally formed by Mother Nature. Gorged with little doctor fish, you can plunge your feet into a natural pool for a fish pedicure session, guaranteed results, not forgetting the sensations....
After discovering the fantastic sites of Dakhla, take a well-deserved break between land and sea. Relax either in a "Saharaoui" tent, where you can sip the famous Sahara tea and enjoy a traditionally prepared local meal (supplement), or in the best seafood restaurant.
To round off the day, take a final stimulating break at the Asmaa Spring on the way home. This naturally sulphurous water is known for its therapeutic properties, particularly for skin diseases and respiratory problems.
