Our Daily Bike Tours explore the historic suburbs of Riga, covering the most interesting sections of Riga. The bike tour rides along the river before entering the Moscow district. The area which became the Jewish ghetto during WWII is one of the most interesting areas in Riga. We then explore the trendy Central district to find some nice bars and cafes and street art. These tours ride off the tourist route, showing a different, more realistic side of Riga, from the comfortable saddle of a city bike.

We start with a short history of Riga in the town square to set the scene for the tour
Uncover the history of the Latvian riflemen
To understand Riga and Latvia you need to look back towards the end of the Russian Empire. 1905 is pivotal in Latvia's story.
We discover the oldest suburb of Riga and learn about how the area flourished into the 20th century. Later being used as the Jewish ghetto in WW2
We will pass through central Riga long bike lanes to discover the city life as it is today.
Discover the magic of the quiet centre and Riga's famous Art Nouveau architecture
Lets finish the tour with a beautiful ride through the park and along the canal!
Final stop! Latvian Freedom monument

Nice trip under expert guide Arthur. He told us a lot of interesting things about the history of Riga and showed us neighborhoods where you don't go easily as a tourist. Three hours of cycling in the then very hot Riga was fine to do. Definitely recommend postwar an interesting and sporting morning.
