We had the most incredible time on the "Discover Akchour: Waterfalls, Natural Pools & God’s Bridge Tour!" I did this trek with three of my friends, and it was hands down the highlight of our trip. The place itself is absolutely stunning—easily one of the most beautiful and amazing natural landscapes we have ever seen. What truly made this experience unforgettable, though, was our guide, Youssef. He was absolutely amazing, incredibly kind, and so friendly right from the start. He didn’t just treat us like clients; he treated us like real friends and family. He kept us safe, shared so much great information, and went completely out of his way to look after us. On top of being a fantastic guide, Youssef actually saved us a lot of money! Whenever we wanted to buy snacks or drinks from the local cafes along the trail, he stepped in to make sure we got the local prices and didn't get overcharged. If you are planning to visit Akchour, I personally suggest and highly recommend booking Youssef for your future tours. You will have a joyful, stress-free day and make a great friend along the way. Thank you, Youssef, for an amazing day!
Youssef was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. He showed us some incredibly beautiful places and made us feel like one big happy family. An awesome day out :)
Spent a fantastic day hiking to Akchour Waterfalls and God's Bridge with Rubio Mohammed. He is a professional, friendly, and welcoming guide who speaks English, Spanish, French, and Arabic. What really makes Rubio stand out is how well connected he is with the local community. Thanks to him, I got to experience the authentic side of Akchour, enjoyed traditional Moroccan food, and met many friendly locals. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking—the whole hike feels like stepping into a hidden paradise that you simply won't find anywhere in Europe. There are two hiking routes available. I chose the God's Bridge and Small Waterfall route, which took around 5 hours and is suitable for most people. I recommend wearing comfortable hiking shoes, as you'll cross rivers and do a bit of climbing. If possible, book the 9:00 AM departure to avoid the crowds. Highly recommended! Check out my photos—they speak for themselves.
Zachariah is a very good guide; it was his first time, and the hike offered us beautiful landscapes. I recommend it.
Zacharia, our guide, could not have been more considerate, pleasant and helpful! There were 5 women in our group, from 25-78 years of age and he did a great job of attending to everyone. However, hiking 4 hours before stopping to eat lunch was far too long and I would suggest the your company build in a drink and snack time half way through. While I might not pick this hike to do again, I would definitely pick Zacharia!
Youssef is an amazing guide, who was super fun experienced and gave as a beautiful tour. He treated us like family and showed us the best way to the sights. If we would’ve hiked on our own we would’ve never discovered the beautiful path he led us on. We totally recommend.
Excellent experience, recommend if you are visiting Chefchaouen or the surrounding area. Our guide, Zakaria, was extremely hospitable; he managed our meals, gave us insights to the local area, and, of course, led a wonderful hike at our pace! The hike takes about 5-6 hours total if you go to both the waterfall and god’s bridge. Akchour is a beautiful little town that is certainly worth the visit.
Hicham, our young guide was extremely considerate of our ages, 69 and 70 when he took us to Akchour along with 2 other people. I am a reasonably fit 70 Yr old, but slower than I used to be! We had a considerable, steep climb to reach the spectacular natural formation known as God's bridge. There we had a stop to admire the views and a welcome mint tea, then walked down. We then took a different route to the small cascade for lunch in the shade. Hicham was knowledgeable and willingly answered our many questions. Definitely recommended. Best walk of our trip, both in terms of guide and place.
Zacka was absolutely fantastic, a truly magnificent experience. He couldn't do enough for us, taking photos, telling us about his village. The views were amazing and we even had a swim in the waterfall. Definitely recommend.
Zaka did such an amazing job! He’s a local and very knowledgeable. Super friendly and nice and easy to get along with (and a great photographer too!) thank you! Such a lovely hike!
