Authentic family dining experience. The food and our host, Anna were incredible. All her food was local; pesto and fig pie ingredients were from her garden. Making the pasta noodles was one of many highlights. Give yourself time for taxi, as you do not want to miss this experience. Highly recommend!

You can't cook for yourself. You're really being cooked. Dishes are simple, but tasty. The classics of Italian cuisine.
Two adults, six children. Children were as much as the adults and hardly ate two bites. Not a cooking class. Sweet woman who hosted and her husband. We loved them. If it was 1/4 of the price, higher reviews would’ve been given.

Regarding pricing, children are included at the same rate as adults because they actively take part in the experience, which involves preparation, ingredients, hosting, and personalized attention regardless of age. We understand, however, that expectations around food consumption may vary, especially with younger guests. The experience is designed as a hands-on cooking activity in a private home rather than a restaurant-style meal, and we’re sorry if this was not fully aligned with what you were expecting. The food was wonderful, but the best experience is the welcoming into a total strangers home and feeling like you have been friends for years. We are so glad to meet Daniela and her husband Gianno and know we have new friends in La Spevia
We had the best meal we had our entire trip in Italy. Not only was the food spectacular, but our host and hostess were incredible. Thank you Paula and Massimo for opening your home up to us and making us feel like part of your family.
Roberta & Ricardo are lovely, welcoming hosts. Roberta's cooking is divine. She patiently answered our many questions - and she customized for preferences in our group. Her lasagna is perhaps the best thing we've eaten after a week in Italy. One minor consideration: their beautiful home is a little outside of La Spezia and taxis can be tricky. Highly recommend dining with Cesarine!
Not to be missed! Daniele, our Cesarina, is an amazing chef and host. She is warm, welcoming, entertaining, and the multi-course meal she prepared was the best we had on our Italy vacation. Everything was homemade, right down to the after dinner drinks of Lemoncello and coffee liquor. If you only do one cooking class/demo, DO THIS ONE!
Our host Daniela opened up her home and made us all feel like we were a part of her family and not guests. The food was delicious and we left full and happy. Would definitely do this again with Daniela!
