A tour suggests a ‘guide.!’ So anytime you see the word ‘tour’ and don’t read the small print you might well get a ‘driver,’ who may or may not speak your language so take care. My driver was very good but the tour experience and insight I hoped for a bit of a ‘do it yourself’ approach,
Streets are very crowded as they are single file roads but driver was very experienced so he managed to avoid traffic. He took us to all the places of interest. Though we went to Dalai Lama temple we missed the holiness as he left for south India. Mountain range view was another experience. The place is quiet and serene. Nice
Ryan was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. Was able to customize the tour to my specific interests. Definitely would recommend this tour!
There are some good places to visit like Tsuglagkhang complex which houses the Tibet Museum and Namgayal monastery where Dalai lama presently stay in exile, the panoramic HPCA stadium, Naddi View point and Kangra Fort among few others.
