We will meet at our workshop filled with materials, tools and finished products. This is where you will become an insider on the whole process of crafting a fashion bag. You will find out the deepest secrets of this wonderful tradition. Together with master artisans you will craft your own Raffia bag while you enjoy some cava and snacks. Handpicking out of thousands of different combinations, you will chose the size of the bag, the colors, the words and the handles. You can even stitch your own name on it! At the end, when trying on your own creation, you will feel like a true artisan. This was such a fun thing to do! I try to do something like this everywhere I travel. It makes what I bring back much more meaningful. The staff is phenomenal and they keep things light and fun, but they know their stuff. The cocktails are yummy and it is gratifying to bring something home that you made. Everything in the store is handmade they even have really tiny espadrilles. On your trip to Barcelona, take two hours to relax and use the creative part of your brain, you won't regret it!
This was such a fun creative experience. Our host/teacher was Jordy, who was so friendly and funny. He helped us design beautiful raffia bags. We all had fun, ages 12-47. Would definitely recommend and do again.

I overall liked the experience and am satisfied with my bag. The team is very nice and accommodating to one’s wishes! I personally would have appreciated a little more guidance. The workshop started with the question what we want to make. There were some examples in the store but all of the same style/technique. I found it hard to come up with an idea on the spot, and quickly Googled some options. I wished I was instructed to do that beforehand. We ultimately figured out how to make my idea “come to life” on the spot, which was okay, but it ended taking quite some time and I felt that after 2hrs, my bag didn’t feel completely finished. The other girl in my workshop had the same feeling… I have done the shoe making workshop here before and liked that a little more :)

it was a great experience, probably one of the best that I have from Barcelona. The artisans are nice and authentic locals as they even recommended me some restaurants for dinner.
