Great time spent with Cédric Adapts very well to its audience for adults and young. Lots of shared stories
Cédric is an exceptional guide who knows the history of the events but also the region. He adapts his comments to his customers, for example for us Americans he added very interesting details/anecdotes. He is perfectly bilingual (English) and taught us a mountain of things. A personalized experience that we will not forget!
Cedric made our D-Day experience amazing. We were traveling as a family (13/10) and he kept them engaged. His passion for history shines and he’s able to explain what really happened vs. the Hollywood version. He picked us up from our hotel and had lunch and drinks available. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again.
Cedric made our day in Normandy absolutely perfect. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about the sacrifices the Allied soldiers made in Normandy and also shared stories of those who lived it. He took great care of us, making sure we were fed and comfortable. We are so grateful!
A great moment when our passionate and exciting guide took us into the History of Normandy and the World. We particularly liked that it also fits our children for the explanations What to do
Half a day peak of the special, American cemetery, omaha beach and arromanche, Cedric explained to us very well, he has many anecdotes and small stories, all these visits take another meaning with him. Thank you.
We toured the D-Day beaches and Mont Ste Michel over a two day period. Cedric did a wonderful job of sharing stories about people in the war (famous and not well known) to help bring history to life. He was extremely knowledgeable and even drove many of the routes the armies took in the war. It was amazing to see such beautiful places with tragic backgrounds. Cedric was friendly and accommodating the whole time and ensured we had great tours. I believe I learned more on the tour than in school! I would highly recommend Normandy Excursions and Cedric. In fact, I’m sending some friends his way next month. I’d definitely schedule a tour again!
Dear Guest, I am very glad you enjoyed your 2 days with me and Normandy Excursions. I also do thank you for the great review you gave me on TripAdvisor web site. Finally, be sure that updating my knowledge is my priority ;-) Regards, Cedric LECUYER. Director of Normandy Excursions.
My wife and I had an off-season trip to Bayeux, and took a tour upon the advice of our hotel staff. Cedric was an excellent tour guide, and had outstanding knowledge of the D-Day operation. I highly recommend the tour!
Dear Guest, It always great to ear that I have a outstanding knowledge :) The job (passion) do request a deep knowledge that you always have to improve. Thank you very much for your review. Cedric, Director of Normandy Excursions
We had a great time with Cedric. My mom in a wheelchair was able to enjoy the explanations, stories and anecdotes of soldiers just like us thanks to Cédric. He was able to adapt his tour for a person with reduced mobility in wheelchair without any worries and participated in the trip as a "passenger-guide" in my mom's adapted PMR car so that she could make the most of his explanations. Thanks again for making this moment exceptional and for being so flexible.
