The positive was Aldolfo did a great job giving information etc. Adelaide wasn't nearly as informative or helpful. It also was upsetting that we had to stop in lucerne to pick up 1 person. They weren't there right away so we had to wait. This all took, including getting to the terminal and waiting about 30-45 minutes. This took away time from our destination. In addition, we made a stop in interlaken for around 30 minutes. Wasn't enough time to see and do much and rush back to the bus. If we would have had the time we spent in lucerne, we would have had plenty of time. When we got to our destination at jungfraujoch, aldolpho got our tram and train tickets and everything went fine. On Aldolphos advice on the bus, I went up to the crystal restaurant. The view and meal were fantastic. The problem came when I tried to find the group. I went to all the places on the route, but no group. As I finished, I still could not find the group. When I ended the route, I asked one of the information people about the group and showed her my ticket. She said the group had already gone back down. I asked her what I should do. She said to take the 1 train down to the gondola and then down to grisrnwald. I did and didn't find my group. Adulthood or Adelia never gave us their number to call in case we were in trouble or lost. In addition, no one tried to contact me to coordinate where I was or to see if I was in trouble or needed help. This is 1 area that I think Viatar needs to make changes to or shore up. I would think if they made a head count on the bus, they would see someone is missing. Even getting people's phone numbers so they could be called would improve the security for the people taking this tour. When I got down in Grindenwald, I had to ask how to get back to zurich. I took the train back 2 hours and missed anything else that was scheduled on the tour.
It was a full day tour / 12 hours with all the best experience at Jungfraujoch . The guides were excellent.
This trip exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Traveling from Zurich to Jungfraujoch was very enjoyable, especially with the scenic stop near Interlaken. The guide was helpful, and everything was organized perfectly, making the day relaxing and memorable.
The journey to Jungfraujoch from Zurich was seamless and well managed. I really enjoyed passing through Interlaken, which offered beautiful scenery. The entire experience felt comfortable, and the views at the top were absolutely stunning and worth every second.
If you’re in Zurich for just 2–3 days and want something truly unique beyond shopping, dining, or the usual cheese and chocolate tastings, this is it — Top of Europe. I was genuinely impressed by how smooth, well-organized, and enjoyable the entire 12-hour experience was. Every detail felt thoughtfully planned, making the day both seamless and memorable. A special thank you to Sofi and Kin, our guides, who made the journey even more enjoyable with their professionalism and warmth.
Great tour. Good way to see it all with express queue management. Good day out and worthwile day tour.
It's a long day but well worth it. Bigs groups, not ideal. Guide did her best to account for everyone, bit hard to hear at times with such a large group (60+ people)
Its a long day trip from Zurich but totally worth it. The guides from the Best of Switzerland Tours were fantastic and very helpful, and the coach driver was really careful. We loved the beautiful scenic views along the way, the gondola and EigerExpress rides and the ice sculptures in Jungfraujoch. The only down side was far too many people up on Jungfraujoch - this made it a little less enjoyable.
Dear minusbaggage, thanks for your review and good to hear that you have enjoyed your tour, yes during summer many travelers visit the Jungfraujoch.
Our guide, Olga, was amazing and very informative. She did a great job leading our group through all of the stops and making sure we were all accounted for. The views up at Jungfraujoch were breathtaking, until a storm rolled in. There was an Indian buffet at the top (as well as other options) and that really warmed our souls staring at the snow. As with most tours there is never enough time but being a 12 hour day it would be hard to extend this day any longer.
The Eigar express was cancelled during the tour. Tour operator told as they will refund 120 CHE to us. We don’t get any information about the refund. Please let us know about the refund.
