At the conclusion of hotel pickups in Pula and Medulin, you'll be transported through time where the Istrian Peninsula of Croatia may look a bit more like its neighbor - Italy. Within a span of 8 hours, you'll visit the hilltop village of Bale, explore Rovinj also called, 'Little Venice,' enjoy an Istrian lunch in Grizini and immerse yourself in more than 2,000 years of history in Porec. Tour includes a professional guide, hotel pickup and drop-off from selected hotels in Pula and Medulin, and Istrian lunch.

Like a fairy-tale settlement, Rovinj is jam-packed with small yellow and scarlet houses connected with cobbled streets and squares. This tiny gem has it all: the history, the culture, the cuisine, and you will love it!
Our final stop is the city of Poreč, one of the most famous vacation destinations in Istria. Known for a long seafront promenade, great beaches, modern restaurants and numerous historical sights, Poreč will easily captivate you. The city highlight is the 6th-century Euphrasian Basilica, known for its beautiful mosaics on gold backgrounds.

We really enjoyed this day trip, although it was a long day (as we were the first pick up in Pula) it went very smoothly and a lovely local lunch was provided half way through the day. Visiting the towns of Rovinj and Porec was a real highlight as both towns are very pretty and our guide was able to offer lots of information which we found very informative. Overall a very good day trip!
All day trip with additional stop off to small Roman village Bale with cute church and traditional stone buildings.
Really good tour nicely paced . May was a good time to go before it got really busy . Lunch was good Mauro was exceptional
Really enjoyable trip to see another part of Istria, from the tourist resorts of Porec and Rovinj, to the lesser know Bale. Mauro was an excellent guide, approachable and full of regional knowledge.
We enjoyed the trip overall, the guide and driver were excellent. Given that the title of the trip mentions two main cities we felt that the trip to Bale could have been skipped. It is mentioned on the itinerary and is a lovely spot. However it takes around 45 minutes off the day, which we felt would have been better to allow more free time in Porec. We ended up dashing around the Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 20 minutes which was a real shame. The lunch was lovely and a real taste of the region. Overall a great day and glad we went.
Great guide but why we had to travel to the middle of nowhere for a meal that was awful is beyond me. I’d rather have bought my own meal in Rovinj or Porec and had more time there

We had a really nice day with the tour. Our tour guide Barbara and Daniel looked after us very well. Daniel was. A great driver being local he was able to avoid the summer traffic jams and our pick ups were on time at each point 👍 Barbara was a great guide giving information along the way not too much on the bus but just enough , then at the three stops we learnt enough information to get a quick gasp of the history of each town. Guides are invaluable…we come a long way so it’s nice to learn a little history and about the region . Thankyou for a great day out. The meal /lunch at the small family restaurant was delicious and we were so happy to enjoy local cuisine…Thankyou to the Familja Ferlin …delicious! Hvala to all for a memorable day.
