Description
The Ngorongoro Crater is located in the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. It is the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago. It is one of the seven natural wonders of Africa. The crater is now home to approximately 25000 large animals, including the black rhinoceros, Cape buffalo, blue wildebeest, gazelles, elephants, lions, and many other wonderful animals.

You'll be picked up early in the morning from your residence or hotel with packed lunch boxes and begin a scenic 3–4 hour drive toward Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you'll stop at the crater viewpoint for a stunning panoramic view. Then, you'll descend into the crater for an exciting game drive. In the afternoon, you'll enjoy your lunch near the hippo pool. After lunch, you'll continue with a short game drive before ascending from the Crater and returning to your destination in Moshi or the airport.
