Day Trip To Arusha National Park

Description
Arusha National Park is one of the smaller parks of Tanzania and is a popular destination for day trips due to its proximity to Moshi and Arusha. Despite its size, the park offers a spectacular landscape and a diverse wildlife population. Giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffalos, warthogs, baboons, colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and other animals can be seen all year round - as well as a large variety of bird species. With luck, you will also see leopards, elephants and hyenas.

Itinerary
First we will drive to the Momella Gate where an armed ranger will be waiting for you to accompany you on a walking safari. Here you will have the unique opportunity to observe the wild animals close up. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. After thoroughly enjoying the walking safari, you will have lunch at a picnic spot with a wonderful view over the Momella lakes. In the afternoon you will continue with an exciting game drive, where you will see the Ngurdoto Crater and other places. During the drive, your experienced guide will tell you everything you need to know about the park, the landscape and the animals. In the late afternoon, just before the park closes, your driver will escort you back to the hotel. On The way back, you can enjoy the sunset and your memories of the day.
