The view of Praia dos Anjos attracts by the bucolic group of boats, where throughout the day fishermen return from the sea loaded with fish to the market. The beach, despite not being the most suitable for swimming, is certainly among the most important and busiest in the region. It was on the sand of Praia dos Anjos that Américo Vespúcio arrived in 1503 to start the colonization of the region. The Nossa Senhora dos Remédios Church was built there, where the first closed mass in Brazil took place. The church remains on the site to this day and shares space with a large number of tourists who go for boat trips, the Forno trail and the local bars and restaurants.

- Lunch will not be served before the boat tour, as some people may feel discomfort due to the movement of the vessel. It will be served between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. We recommend bringing snacks and water to consume on the bus during the journey.
- The transfer to Arrial do Cabo takes approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
- In the high season, the shipment is made in Ipanema for better logistics and to avoid traffic.
- Tours operate as usual even in bad weather and are only canceled in exceptional circumstances when the Brazilian Navy does not authorize the vessel to depart. ATTENTION : Do not dispose of any items in the toilet (including toilet paper).
- Boats do not operate when overcrowded and are inspected by the Brazilian Navy. During high season, we prioritize larger vessels, always within legal limits
- Transport Rio - Arraial do Cabo – two options : Hotel pick-up (if available for your accommodation) : If you choose hotel pick-up, you will be picked up directly at your accommodation, but you will need to participate in the collection of all other customers. The pick-up process will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From the last meeting point, the journey to Arraial do Cabo will take 2 hours and 45 minutes.
- Final meeting point : If you prefer to avoid the hotel pick-up process, you can go directly to the final meeting point by selecting Socialtel Lapa - Rua Visconde de Maranguape 9 in your booking. We got on the wrong tour and the organisation did not even notice. The pick up time was 35 min late, we got on the bus and the organiser started messaging me “where are you?”. We checked if we were on correct bus with the guide and the organiser, BOTH confirmed it. We messaged multiple times though-out the day checking if it was correct again (the tour was not English speaking as promised), and they again confirmed everything was correct. At the end of the day the tour we were on realised the error and made us pay 420 reals per person. The original company to which we paid £110 decided that it was not their fault and did not refund us anything. Overall, I would not recommend to use this company and to go to the tour all together. The beach is crowded with people, and not a pleasant experience. Buffet was good (probably the same one), but also crowded.

It took us almost 5 hours to get to the destination, to only get off 40 minutes to the beach, and then do boat tours without being able to get off, honestly I didn't like it, 80% of the time we spent it back and forth

The tour is very top. Many places to visit in Rio in a single day and always. The guides Magnun and Mr José are sensational, attentive and very friendly. Very good.

Arraial do Cabo was a bad experience. We were excited to visit but when we got there we were faced with reality. Dirty city, horrible internet anywhere in the city, very expensive food and worst of all, poor quality food, we are poorly served, not to mention being extorted on the beach! Anyway, what's worth it is the boat trip along the beaches, which are really beautiful, but that's it. A day at a camp is a good time!

The tour was incredible. We had great service from start to finish. The guide, Bianca, is an excellent professional. As a suggestion, review the tour time, as we had delays and little time on the beaches. But I would go on tours with you again.

I had an amazing visit to Arraial do Cabo with Rio Passeios & Trilhas. It was well organized from pick-up, to connections to different stops, be mindful to carry cash with you to pay for Taxi transfers between stops, very important. The Tour itself covered 3 stops at different beaches in Arraial, it was stunning sites and though a bit over crowded still worth a visit to what can be considered Brazilian Caribbean beach. Thanks Felipe for the awesome tour guidance, tips and great chat! The boat crew is also pretty awesome!
