Immerse yourself in the world of the Italian Renaissance on a private tour of Pisa and Florence from the cruise terminal of La Spezia. Your private driver will meet you at the port for the 2-hour drive to Florence, taking you through a lush landscape of vineyards and olive orchards. Upon arrival in Florence, enjoy a panoramic overview of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo.
Pop into the fashionable boutiques, or taste some of the legendary Tuscan cuisine at one of the city’s many restaurants. Your chauffeur is always at your disposal to show you any place you wish, such as the Accademia Gallery where you can see the original statue of Michelangelo's David, or the huge Renaissance Pitti Palace on the south side of the Arno.
Wander the pedestrian zone to discover the best shopping in town, as well as landmark sites such as the Piazza della Signoria, home to the Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Museum. Continue to the Ponte Vecchio, the famous 14th-century covered bridge that is home to the city’s goldsmith shops.
Then, head into the town center to admire the church of Santa Croce, where Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli and Rossini are buried. Your chauffeur will park in Piazza del Duomo so that you can get up-close to the superb cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
En route back to La Spezia, stop in Pisa to see the famous "Square of Miracles" where you will find Pisa's Duomo, Baptistery and Camposanto, as well as the Campanile, better known as the “Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Everything was amazing! Carlos is a fantastic driver/guide. He was so professional. Pointed out the highlights along the drive and gave us some history of the towns. Made some recommendations when we were in Florence and gave us a map to help us. On Saturday the 25th of May we (4 couples) enjoyed a great tour of Florence and Pisa with Carlos from Italytours.eu. Picked up in a comfortable van we headed off to Florence. Since traffic was lighter on a Saturday we had the opportunity to stop first at a scenic overlook before driving into the city to join a guided tour. We had plenty of time to shop, eat lunch and still make a short stop in Pisa for the iconic photo. We were back to the cruise in plenty of time and I have no problem recommending Italytours.eu for your next non Cruise ship excursion.
After many wonderful tours on Viator with other operators we were excited for Pisa and Florence. We paid over $1100 for a tour of both cities in an air conditioned van with Wi-Fi. After arriving at the meeting point on the voucher and waiting for over 30 minutes I contacted the tour operator directly. After another 20 minutes I finally got a response stating “Unfortunately I have not receive on my email your booking from the Sistem” I HAD received confirmation from Viator but the tour guide dropped the ball. After another 30 minutes I was ushered into a car with no Wi-Fi and a non English speaker driver who dropped us in the center of Florence with no guidance or direction at all. This is not a tour and we did not receive what we were promised and the tour company REFUSED to offer even a PARTIAL REFUND!!!! BEWARE!!!
