We had an absolutely amazing time on both of these excursions. The Mto wa Mbu cycling tour was an energetic, immersive ride through lush banana and coffee plantations—getting to taste the local red bananas and see the artisans at work was a massive highlight. Following it up with the Burunge walking safari was the perfect contrast. Walking along the lake shores with our guide felt incredibly peaceful, tracking footprints and spotting zebras up close without the noise of an engine. Both activities gave us a much deeper connection to the landscape and the people. Highly recommend doing both!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this wonderful review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear how much you enjoyed both the Mto wa Mbu cycling tour and the Lake Burunge walking safari. We love offering experiences that go beyond the traditional game drive, and your description of riding through the banana plantations and peacefully tracking wildlife on foot is exactly the magic we want our guests to feel. It’s fantastic that you got to taste the local red bananas and connect so deeply with the landscape. I will be sure to share your compliments with your guides. Thank you for choosing us, and we hope to welcome you back for more adventures!
Way better than what I have seen in school, TV, or in the media. Truly an experience of a lifetime. Ngorongoro was heartwarming.
The experience was amazing, we got to see so many animals. It was the best experience of my life. In addition, the team is extremely friendly and professional. the advice and lessons of Isaac (the guide) allowed us to grow out of this experience. the team was incredibly kind.
Safari very well organised. Nasir managed everything including transportation and hotels. Our guide Isaac gave us very good explanations about the animals.
We had a great day trip from Arusha, our guide Mohamed was excellent - very knowledgeable and a great driver in tough conditions. He was super friendly. The crater is unique and beautiful - this trip was a highlight of our time in Tanzania. The Moorland office is very hard to find, the locations on their website and google maps are totally wrong. Even with directions it took several attempts as it’s well hidden ;) but the owner was very nice. The packed lunch wasn’t too great, the veggie option had many (fried) things so could be simpler but nicer. Overall we recommend them!
