Day Tour Classic

We traveled on 5/1/26 to do the Day Tour. We arrived 2 hours early and we checked in on a self check-in totem pole, the migration process was quick, but the boarding was chaotic because no one knew why door was and there were several lines that later mixed. The Atlantic Express vessel quite comfortable, clean bathrooms and a small bar to buy food, quite expensive and charge it in U$S. There are also racks to leave luggage at your peril. The disembarkation was ordered with the option of a free microtourist without a guide or the tourist tour. On the way back we did the check in on a totem, but migrations was chaos because they were mixed with those of Buquebus. For boarding we waited almost 45 minutes in a line that didn’t allow you to sit (considering that you come back tired). We traveled on the Super Ferry, very nice and modern, with plenty of space between seats, a nice bar with tables, and luggage racks. In both there was a free shop with undoubtedly convenient prices. I think it was a nice experience, no difference with the other company, but a little more economical for the same service.

The walking tour was informative and not too long. There was a little confusion with the pdf voucher and I had to get a paper copy printed. The food was mediocre, you had to pick off a different limited menu. The restaurant was the lowest rated in the area. There were better options for less than the upcharge on the tour package.

We had booked online for a day tour to colonia del Sacramento, with Colonia express, but as it never said where the boat was leaving from , we went to Buquebus in puerto Madero, then we realised that it was the wrong port, so we headed to colonia express in la Boca. Customer service was terrible and rude. Wanted to charge us for another outward ticket, then as we refused she ignored us completely, and when we asked to speak to someone in charge ,she said there was none. Obviously lying. We ended up not going and loosing the whole ticket. As a principle my wife refused to travel completely with them.

I had a very hard time with the attention of one of the employees, in the part where the ID is delivered they take your picture and put your thumb. Today Sunday, December 14 at 5:30pm box 1. A bespectacled blonde mistreated me very, very badly. The comrade next door mocked the situation laughed, asked next door to make claims ! they completely ignored me .. they didn't answer me ! My last attempt was to go to the last box to ask for help and a bruised employee tied hair gave me an 0800 that doesn't exist. I don't recommend them at all. Have a very unpleasant situation. They literally teased me.

We booked the tickets on the Colonia Express website (using the English language version). We opted for the package that included the walking tour and the lunch (El Refugio). We were staying in Palermo and booked the 10.30 departure and 20:30 return. This was longer than we wanted but couldn’t find any information on how long the walking tour was. We originally were going to book the 18:00 return, but we didn’t want to leave it too tight. Ultimately, we arrived just after midday and the walking tour (which started 20 minutes later) was only an hour, so we were free to go to lunch at any time up to 16:00. We went back to the port (it was only a 10 minute walk from where the walk ended) and re-booked ourselves on the 18:00 return (we had to pay for two new one way tickets back - our choice). We had lunch - it was a choice of 5 different mains. We choose the chicken leg with salad. A little overcooked but ok. We declined the dessert. Paid for drinks. We then spent 2 hours wandering around the old town, and the more modern street of restaurants and shops. Quite a contrast. Nataly was our guide. She was informative and humorous. It would have been better if she had a microphone as there was a lot of background noise (including some rude people in our group who decided to carry on talking as she was speaking). The passport checking process was a bit manic in both directions. Boat was very nice.

Unique historic and picturesque town. Our guide Lourdes was great — informative and funny. Definitely visit La Colonia.

I made a 1-day round trip between Buenos Aires and Colônia del Sacramento with Colonia Express and it was a wonderful experience! The boat crossing was quick and quiet, with a beautiful view of the Silver River. We bought the guided tour along with the Colonia Express pass, and it’s worth it if you want to learn more about the city’s history. The guide we had was very attentive and super knowledgeable, explaining fascinating details about Cologne. However, if your goal is just to take photos and have more time to explore the city on your own, it may be a good idea to take the tour without a guide as the tour takes a considerable amount of time. Excellent service!

Not as fully expected. But was nice. Expected more and larger historical landmarks. Walking tour was too short. Would have wanted to learn much more.

Scammers, they cancel your tickets and don't give back. Nobody takes care of it, you can't communicate anywhere Unfortunately you can only travel by bus

It is always beautiful to return to Cologne, a place that does not disappoint trip to trip and doing so by Cologne Express closes the experience, for the warmth, closeness of everyone. You feel very comfortable, keep it up.
