The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was discovered. The tour was smooth and pleasant. Ahmed Jackson, my tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the Egyptian history and shared with me all the important information. He also knew all the nice spots for photos. I would recommend this daily tour especially to business travellers with limited time.
Our guide Mido was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and personable. We highly recommend this tour company. Communication was excellent. We received a text before each pick up and the drivers and guide were always on time and even early. Mido Is a true professional. He has participated in archaeological excavations and he’s been a guide for a long time. He speaks several languages fluently. His English is excellent! We also use this to a company for a transfer from our hotel to the airport. They were on time and gave us a very reasonable price for this service. Their driver was also excellent and negotiated the Cairo traffic with ease. We felt very safe. On our next trip to Cairo we will definitely book with this company.
