Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip.

Great
Good driver, punctual, safe, polite and was great value for money. He picked us up at 3am and arrived 10 mins early. We used him from sigiriya to arugam bay and we arrived faster than Google maps predicted. Highly recommend.
