The free tour was well worth the donation. We learned a great deal about Pre-Incan, Incan, and Spanish influence in Cusco. We explored the San Blas neighborhood, received a demonstration of different Incan instruments, and walked to the San Cristobal viewpoint for wonderful views of Cusco. The group enjoyed pisco sours and tea to end the tour. Overall, a great value and a great way to see the highlights of Cusco in a short period of time.
Original way to explore the city. Guide Eric knows the city like the back of his hand.
Very experienced guides with deep local knowledge and connections. They are very accommodating and will di their best to worm with you to ensure you get the best experience of Cusco. Very good!
The tour is excellent for an overview on the city. Our guide, Eric, told us a lot of historical, cultural, and social info, and let us feel the real “vida Cusqueña “. It is absolutely perfect for the first approach to the city!! Eric was an excellent guide, and provided also a lot of tips for the following days!
Ernesto is the best tour guide ever
Milo was well versed, easy to understand and engaging. He was patient, as the tour includes a lot of stairs, at very high altitudes and made those that struggled most feel at ease Unfortunately, on tour date was during the presidential elections, so we didn’t get to taste any local drinks I encourage a more a distinct meeting symbol, like a flag or a colored shirt. The Plaza was jammed with people and it was more difficult to find Milo and the tour group than it should be
Overall great experience, the guide was informative and made an effort to engage with everyone on the tour, many of whom were solo travelers. However, there were no pisco sours, which I was looking forward to.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and kind. We learned a lot.
Great visit to the city of Cusco! We cover the essentials in a few hours. Awesome guide. Also a visit to a luthier, followed by a tasting of Pisco 🤩
We paid for this tour that stated a maximum of 10 people only to find out it was a free tour and had 16 people on it. The tour said it involved experiencing local music / luthier that never happened at the end of the tour the guide was saying goodbye and I had to ask about the Pisco sour tasting which he then took us to. Nearly everyone else just tipped the guide so I feel this was completely mis-sold. The guide was informative and we enjoyed the walk but never got what we paid for.
