Our tour guide will pick you up in Can Tho City. Stop for a light breakfast on the way to An Giang Province (3 hours’ drive)
-Arriving at Tra Su Bird Sanctuary (Tra Su Melaleuca Forest) in the morning, a nature lover’s dream is widely opened. It’s a fantastic place to explore nature and see many wild birds in their natural habitats that can’t be seen elsewhere. -A motorboat will take you deeper into the forest, and then rowboat operators will ferry visitors through the flooded Cajuput Forest for about 15 minutes. Trek for 15 minutes to reach the bird-watching tower to see the whole view of the vast forest and birds perched on the branches. -Taking a rowing sampan to enjoy peaceful scenery and learn about nature life of variety of birds Return to Chau Doc City and enjoy local lunch.
-Drive to Sam Mountain offers breathtaking landscapes and historical remnants. Visit the Holy Mother of the Realm Temple (Ba Chua Xu Temple) which is an ancient and solemn architecture that is located at the foot of Sam Mountain. The temple has the layout like the writing of the word country in Chinese, the shape of the blooming lotus, three layers of blue tiles roof.

Great day of discovery and very friendly and informative.
Today I visited the Tra Su forest with the tour guide Uy. What an amazing time I had. In booking the tour, I was quite specific in what I was looking for and they certainly delivered. I spent some quality time with the beekeepers in the forest who allowed me to look at their hives, learn about their bees and how they process. It was a long journey from where I was staying but worth every minute. I feel that I was able to connect with the beekeepers as we face the same problems, the same regulations and the same fears for our colony’s, this connection would not have been possible without Uy. Uy was able to articulate between us beekeepers with precision. Quite important when you are discussing formulas for disease prevention. The meal I was provided with catered to my needs, it was clean, fresh and super tasty. I also learned a great deal from Uy regarding the changing cultures, the farming industries and his general love of his country without heavy bias. I am also delighted to say how incredibly clean the area was and that there is clearly love and respect for the reserve. It was really nice to see the Vietnamese families spending the day at the reserve with as much passion as myself.
The tour allowed us to give a look into Vietnamese environment, business, culture and social life, all in one. The tour summarises all those things nicely.

I had a lovely trip with a lovely guide Linh. She was so friendly and chatty with very good English. We first went to market and she explained about food on sale and the culture of market sellers . I learnt so much about life in Vietnam from her and as it's coming up to Thet how they celebrate this time of year . When we got to the reserve it was quiet so I felt I had the place to myself . Our boat driver brought me to places where we could spot birds . It was such a pleasant journey and the lunch was abundant . I would highly recommend this tour when wanting to get away from busyness of the city .

Unforgettable experience, we were in can tho so we had to do 3 hours of trip to go there our guide Jimmy super friendly and with a lot of knowledge had us stop in a small place to eat a local fruit which was the perfect pause the forest was beautiful full of birds and vegetation did two routes one with motor boat and another without but worth it
