Waiting at the appointed place at the Faculty of Fine Arts. Odd place to start a tour of the Museum. Waited at the entrance. Guide is a no- show. No call. Will be seeking refund.
We are very sorry about what happened. We understand how frustrating it must have been to wait and not be able to take the tour as planned. Unfortunately, our guide had an unexpected emergency and could not attend, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please rest assured that your refund has already been processed. Regarding the meeting point at the Faculty of Fine Arts, we usually start there because many visitors enjoy beginning the experience with a short introduction before entering the museum. Thank you for your feedback.
Tony gave us a great overview of art in Argentina, leading us from the European influences at the time of independence to contemporary Latin American artists. The tour was just enough to get a taste, without being overwhelming. That said, we felt rushed. We needed more time in each museum with our guide. He showed us a few highlights and then gave us 15 minutes to roam around on our own. It would have been much better if we had had another 20 minutes or so in each location with him explaining the significance of more art. All in all, it was a lovely introduction, but a more in-depth experience would have been ideal.
Hi Henry, thank you very much for this review. It is valuable feedback, and I really appreciate it. I’m glad that you and your friends enjoyed the tour, and I’m also sorry if there wasn’t enough information. The main idea is not to overwhelm visitors, but to give an introduction to the basics, not of art itself, but of how these artworks are connected to Argentine history. Thank you.

The best way to experience the museums in Buenos Aires. Our guide Anthony helped us skip through the lines and presented an incredible overview of Argentina's art history. Never boring we were treated to insider knowledge while exploring some of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Highly recommended!
We met 3 beautiful museums, with our guide Toni, who was very friendly and attentive. One of the best cultural tours we have done in Buenos Aires.
Tony was a fantastic guide and the tour had a good balance of modern and older art, we learnt a lot about Argentinian history and culture. Definitely recommended!
Tony was amazing. He had great energy, spoke good English and had great knowledge of Argentinian history and the art we saw on his tour. He was also a great source for restaurant, bar and museum recommendations. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS TOUR!!!
The museums were great and the historical context and tips for the rest of our trip provided by our guide made the day complete. Highly recommend.
Beautiful tour! Excellent to get a good idea of the best museums in Buenos Aires in an afternoon. Tony is super passionate and very clear in everything he explains. I recommend it 100%
Tour guide Tony was very knowledgeable about cultural highlights of Buenos Aires and in particular about works in the three museums we visited. He pinpointed several works in each museum to give us a flavor of the type of art in each location (Fine Arts, Decorative Arts, and contemporary Latin American Art). Tony was very personable and open to questions. The walk itself was at a reasonable pace and easily done within a couple of hours. I highly recommend for a sample of BA art culture!
