Itinerary
At Morning/Afternoon, your private tour guide and car will pick you up from your hotel and take you North West to the Cu Chi Tunnels which are 70kms away. This is an area where Vietnamese people proudly held their ground during the Vietnam war (in Vietnam it is known as The American War). Over 200kms of underground tunnels were made, the trip will help you understand the struggle the Vietnamese would have gone through on the frontline. It took an enormous amount of ingenuity, courage and imagination to match the enemy and these tunnels were a big part of the Vietnam War and ended being a resounding victory for the Cu Chi people. The tunnel system, fortifications and trenches were a part of a soldiers life, you will see how they lived, the kitchens, store rooms, hospital, living quarters. You can crawl around parts of the tunnel yourself and watch a video of the history of the Vietnam War in this area. We will then take you back to your hotel.

Laren and our driver took great care of us. They were in our hotel lobby early, ready to go the second we came down, and got us to the tunnels ahead of the big crowds. Laren had a lot of information to share and answered all our other questions about Vietnam as well. My husband did the crawling through the actual tunnels bit. I got down, saw that you literally have to crouch, and IMMEDIATELY chickened out. If you are even a LITTLE BIT claustrophobic, stay on the outside. There's still plenty to see and learn at this site, and it's fascinating to hear how the war story is told and perceived outside of the US.
Very interesting historical tour. The Vietnamese people were very ingenious and resilient. Thank you to our guide Duckkk, who did a great job!
Qui was my tour guide and he was EXCELLENT! I had a private tour and it was so worth it. I learned so much about the tunnels, Vietnam war and Vietnamese culture. It was such a great day!
It was a rainy day however our tour guide (wee) did make sure our day was still great . We absolutely loved this tour ! Our guide spoke very good English and he shared lots of interesting facts with us about Vietnam and the war . A private tour means we could move at our own pace and was faster than large group in my opinion . Great for all ages .
Our guide (Harry) was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. I will definitely be requesting for his tour service again on future trips. Thank you Harry!
Wow. Quang was an amazing tour guide. He was very very knowledgeable, he knew his history and communicated it in an engaging and personable way. he was on time, attentive and professional and elevated the tour to the Cu Chi tunnels to a new level. it’s one thing to see something, and another to hear the history and background of what you are seeing and experiencing. The tour was at a good pace, with plenty of time for breaks and to take on the scenery. an excellent experience and highly recommended. Thank you!
It takes 1.5 hours to get to the tunnels and exhibitions. The van was in excellent condition and the air conditioning was working perfectly. Harry the guide was very amicable and friendly. He was also very knowledgeable. A great tour for those spending no less than two days in Ho Chi Min City.
Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and having a private car so we could be on our own schedule really helped us make the most of the day.
History from our lifetime so definitely worth the visit. Amazing how people were able to live fight and survive underground. Good to enter and even walk along a tunnel. The 3d probably worth trying. Only downside it was very busy.
We had a great experience visiting Chu Chi tunnels with our informative guide Lawrence Huynh who told us a lot of interesting historic facts and gave us a lot of useful information. Lawrence was very helpful, friendly and fluent in English.
