We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."
After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

It was a very enjoyable tour and ticked the boxes to visit on a trip to HCMC. Other than the longer drives was a pretty steady pace tour. Better to do together than as separate days.
We thoroughly enjoyed this action-packed day tour! Our guide, Xem, was very friendly and enthusiastic, and he had plenty to tell throughout the day - he made sure the day was good. The tunnels are unique (a must-visit in HCMC), and the stops by the delta were more genuine than on other similar river tours we’ve done in SE Asia. We were most impressed by the coconut candy-making stop, they’re super tasty! Highly recommended

Our tour guide, Tu, was very nice and explained a lot of things about the history of Vietnam. The tour was okay, but it felt a little like a tourist trap, I think visiting the tunnels and mekong delta should be done while going to the south of Vietnam but kg really felt like a tourist trap, especially the mekong, where is basically a market to buy things and then in the short boat ride, the ladies ask you very insistently for tips. Also, one thing I really hated was seeing two snakes in empty cages just there for display and as a plus in the tourist package, it was really sad. The tour company did a good job, its just the experience is what it is with the tourist exposure it has developed.

We had the most amazing experience. This tour was the favourite of our trip. Our tour guide Tu was super passionate and knowledgeable about Vietnam. His was very knowledgeable about the war, local customs and delicacies. Tu always had a smile on his face and made everyone feel included and comfortable. The tour is well planned out with a refreshing coconut to sip on while heading back to the mainland. Thank you and I will be back again and again bring new people to experience this trip.
