Itinerary
We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."
After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

Good experience with informative English guide , a great small group .
It was a hot/humid day but a great way to explore the tunnels and Mekong river.
Kevin was great and the tour was excellent, managed to see a variety of sites in a condensed but worthwhile time.
Was such a wonderful experience, great guide Tu who gave us such a grounded experience, look up to him for his wealth of knowledge and humility. Found the tour in general enlightening. We had a fun group too :) Guide-dependent: yes Time travelling: hefty amount on van Fun: yes!! Should I wear long pants: you should Is it worth the money: yes Was the food good: it was aight Was the boat ride worth it: I’d go spend a day at the Mekong next time, only a short ride
Emily’s knowledge and passion is clearly shown during our almost 10 hour tour. She has a vibrant and positive personality that was contagious. She knows her craft very well. We learned a lot from her and this tour. This is something every first timer in Vietnam should take.
The tour was great! Our guide Emily was super knowledgeable, helpful and very clear with what we were doing. The time allowed at each destination was enough to understand and explore without being too long. It’s a great option for a balance of cost, experiences and time. Definitely recommend the experience for those who want to explore the Cu Chi tunnels and the Mekong Delta.
Had a great full day trip to the tunnels and Mekong river! Tu our tour guide was funny, informative and made everyone feel comfortable, he was excellent!
The Tour was interesting, the guide was engaged and energetic, the pick-up was exactly on time, the communication before the pick-up was excellent. In every way this was a five star tour, and I wish I could rate it that way but for one thing. The bus they picked us up in DID NOT match the bus in the picture. I specifically booked this tour over many other similar tours because I knew it would be six hours in the bus and I was lured in by the picture of the nice woman sitting on a luxury captain's chair with armrests. This is not the bus they use. They use a very standard 12-16 seat bus with bench seating. It's very adequate, but it is not what was advertised. As I said above, the service was good, and I'd love to give them five stars, but I hate a bait and switch.
I did this day tour and thought it was excellent. Our guide, Tu, had a great knowledge of Vietnamese history and made the tour extremely interesting and enjoyable! I really enjoyed the Mekong Delta and boat ride - great fun! The Cu Chi tunnels are also really fascinating and Tu did a great job of explaining the history. Highly recommend this tour!
Had a spare day in Saigon and decided to take the tour as reccommended by some friends, it was totally worth it. Visiting the tunnels and delta was a really cool experience. The tour group was limited to 12 so it's still a fairly intimate group and we had get plenty of time to look at and experience everything there. Our tour guide Tu was very knowledgeable and fun, and made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable for everyone there. Would definitely reccommend.
