Cu Chi tunnel is undergroud city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived undergroud for years... getting married, giving birth.
Embarking a private boat to see country life in Mekong. Then continue cruising along small creek to Mekong River estuary, to Con Phung (Phoenix Island( along natural creeks and quiet village, visit orchards, bee-keeping farm, taste narural honey, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music, see round a distillery, explore the local coconut candy prodution process, taste candy and coconut pulp.

If you don't want to pick up or your location is outside of District 1, please give us your hotel information so we may pick you up before the scheduled departure time. Come by our counter at 241 Pham Ngu Lao Str, Dist 1 or the Sai Gon Central Post Office. - At the Sai Gon Post Office's main entrance, turn to face the inside and look at the VietCruise Tours counter on your left hand. - We will pick you up at your hotel if you purchase a private trip.

Me and the family really had a great time with Ata! We also gained new insights about the Vietnamese culture because each time we ask Ata questions, he would explain it to us right away. Ata is very fun to be with during the trip because he takes good picture of us especially at the tunnel hahahaha. Overall, it was a fun and great experience at the Cu Chi tunnel and Mekong.

We joined the Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Delta day tour as a family of four, and it turned out to be much better than we expected. Pickup from our apartment was on time, and the whole day felt well paced — busy but not rushed. Our guide explained Vietnam’s history clearly and in a balanced way, which helped our kids understand what daily life was like during the war years, not just the military side. The Cu Chi Tunnels were definitely the highlight. It wasn’t only about seeing the tunnels, but learning how people actually lived and survived. The Mekong Delta part was a nice contrast — peaceful boat rides through small canals, beautiful scenery, and a simple local lunch that everyone enjoyed. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, and the driver was careful and smooth. Overall, the tour felt professionally organized, not like a rushed “checklist” tour. For families visiting Ho Chi Minh City for the first time with limited time, this combination is a great way to experience both history and nature in one day. We’re glad we chose this tour.
