Take a tour from San Diego to Tijuana and be amazed by the growing craft beer scene. Take a walk thru Tijuana downtown to discover cultural alleys, mystic animal like the Zonkey, hidden tap rooms in abandoned churches or nightclubs and many souvenir stores with a lot of Mexican traditional crafts. Tijuana has the featured that the most important breweries are in the Downton and all of them have their own personality and ambiance. Carlos was our guide for the day. He was exceptional, so passionate about his city and country. We were safe and well looked after. Visiting all sorts of bars and breweries that you just would not find on your own. This is a great value for money experience if you want to pop into Tijuana for the day . 5 star
Gilberto met me at the border and we walked across for our tour. We went to quite a few craft breweries and a couple of local cantinas as a fun detour. Small group all agreed. He was knowledgeable regarding the brews and the local scene. I really enjoyed it.
Border-tours was great! Myself and three of my girlfriends have never been to Tijuana and wanted to go! We decided to go on a Craft Beer tour using Border-Tours. Sergio and Andres were great! From start to finish the tour exceeded our expectations! We met up in San Ysidro and then crossed the border! Once we crossed we hopped in his car and went about our way! Sergio and his other tour guide were knowledgeable about TJ, the different bars and made us feel right at home in TJ. I really appreciated that the tour was small and just the 4 of us, as it felt more intimate than some of the larger groups that we saw. We stopped at few of the local breweries, a popular local taco shop and we even got to do a little shopping!! It was more than just a craft beer tour, it was that and so much more! I even got to play a little guitar, he taught us some Spanish lingo and we got to dance a bit at one of the local spots! Once we were done, we safely crossed back over the Border and we parted ways. I fell in love with TJ, Sergio really changed my perspective about Tijuana and I hope to go back soon! :) If you ever want to go on a tour, check these guys out! If we plan on going again and looking to learn more about the city/tours, I will use them again!
