It was a nice, bucket list thing to do. You can't go to Venice and not take a gondola ride. But it wasn't as enchanting as I thought it would be. The canal was busy, too many boats at once, like bumper to bumper road traffic. Gondola operators were enjoying lots of fun banter between themselves, instead of any dialog with us. Maybe that's ok, but I just expected more. And for some reason it was hard to find. It was not in St Mark's Square.
Great trip, nice to see Venice from the canals. Impressive how well they maneuver the gondolas.
Don’t waste your money. There was no guide. The trip was short. We didn’t see much. Not worth $47.
Tour operator never showed up
I liked the 3D interactive, but the price seemed high for what it was, and the punter was grumpy and just chatting on his phone the whole time. But, we were on a Gondola in Venice... no other options of ways to do that.

Evidently a rookie mistake, fewer minutes of travel, an uninteresting ride, and the gondolier did not speak to us at all during the entire circuit; my friend and I were cramped together.

They gave us virtual reality goggles with audio. The fun part was the immersive 360° video. The informative part was all being taught with the video/audio. The peaceful part was the Gondola Ride. It was lovely and serene. 100% recommend. 💜
No service in German, no service regarding the process, you are almost left to your own devices; there was no time for the virtual glasses beforehand, and they didn't really work, even though we arrived on time. An app with files also needs to be downloaded. You have 5 minutes for that. Everything to I look forward to hearing from you shortly. Despite registering, there were still waiting times in the blazing sun until it was our turn; the gondola tour is far too short. The app does not work optimally, as you are outside with your phone in the sun; headphones would also be good for that. Overall, the price/performance ratio is not right.
I really enjoyed the virtual info on Venice however I did not bring my earbuds with me so I missed the commentary you needed to download. The gondola ride was great, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't the advertised 45min.
Our guide didn’t speak a word to us. The trip was advertised for 45 minutes, but we waited in the office for over 20 minutes to leave for the gondola. So, in essence, we were on the gondola for less than 25 minutes. Not worth your money. Terrible customer service, as in none. Obviously, beautiful bc in Venice, but really do you have to try hard? Pretty dang disappointing. Oh well! The regular gondolas are 90 euros per boat for 30 minutes for a better experience.
