Crab Route through Tierra del Fuego from Ushuaia

Description
The Crab Route that we propose from Kaitek Viajes has value-added services, such as a trekking through Cascada del Duende for everyone, and a complete and free snack in a beautiful natural and ancestral environment in Laguna Victoria, connected to the Lasifashaj River . Both bodies of water were navigable sites for the Yámana, native canoeists from Ushuaia. We include lunch in a classic fisherman's restaurant, with a panoramic view of the Beagle Channel, and where you can have lunch of the "Centolla Fueguina" natural, au gratin or in butter. Our 4x4 vehicles, the experience of the guides, and the off-road tours make this service so special and differential. You just need to decide to travel and we do the rest!

Itinerary
From the main office of Kaitek Viajes we begin the tour of the hotels.
After traveling National Route 3, at 35km we will have the intersection with Provincial Route J, which will take us for another 40km through the forest and accompanied at all times by the Lasifahsaj river. Our destination: Laguna Victoria. From this, we are going to have our country breakfast here, in an ancestral site, full of history of our original peoples. This lagoon that freezes in winter, and throughout the year is a natural site par excellence.
After the snack, we will go to the fishing village of Puerto Almanza. We will take advantage of the moment to take panoramic photos and get to know the site. Puerto Almanza is a small fishing village located on the east coast of the Beagle Channel, 75 km from the city of Ushuaia. The name of the place comes from a sawmill that worked in the area between the decades of the 40s and 50s. Upon arrival at the town, we will walk and contemplate the beauties of the place, and we will have our reservation ready to be able to delight ourselves with the most original native dishes, on the edge of the Beagle Channel.
After visiting the town, our lunch will be waiting for us in one of the most picturesque restaurants in Puerto Almanza, on the banks of the Beagle Channel, with the best views in the area. Now yes, you will be able to taste the Fuegian Crab in any of its versions, accompanied by shellfish and fresh fish, obtained in an artisanal way in the canal. Kaitek Viajes has tourist menus in the restaurant, already included in the experience, based on local fishing and crab included in the menu. If you want, you can also have the opportunity to try the whole crab on the plate for an extra cost.
After lunch, we will have the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Tierra del Fuego, starting from a trail for all ages, in the middle of the river and the lenga forest. A must hike for the whole family and friends.
The Crab Route is one of the most interesting and captivating circuits on the planet, given the combination of exquisite dishes made from fresh shellfish and crab, with dazzling landscapes, where the forest enters the Beagle Channel in an exciting and capricious way. Puerto Almanza is a small fishing village located on the east coast of the Beagle Channel, 75 km from the city of Ushuaia. Excellent service and willingness from the very first moment. Sol, managing everything in the best way. Luis, the guide, is top-notch! Everything was very good! Punctual and warm. Beautiful experience! Thank you very much, Kaitek ♥️
Beautiful experience, very nice trip, excellent service, very tasty breakfast and lunch, the places where we stopped were lovely, thank you very much... thanks to the company and to Luis for the day we spent together. Regards.
The journey was beautiful, the landscapes were stunning, and it is also important to mention the guide Gabriel, an old-school guide who does not focus on sticking to a schedule but rather cares about providing the best experience and memories for all of us who, with great effort, managed to reach the end of the world! The food from Araceli was also delicious, and the beautiful shelter where we had lunch was wonderful. Lastly, and no less important, is to highlight the attention via WhatsApp from Sol, who cares about advising you and informing you, beyond just selling you an excursion! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I already want to go back!!
Excellent experience with the guide Gabriel!!!! He showed us incredible landscapes!! Thank you!!!
Excellent driver-guide Gabriel 😃 better known as the one-man band haha very kind, good service, responsible behind the wheel EXCELLENT ALL!!!
Beautiful excursion, excellent driver-guide explaining each place, very friendly, stunning locations, and the food was perfect!!! Highly recommended. See you next time! Thank you. 💖💖
Very good experience. The driver is an excellent guide. Thank you, Gabriel.
It is a beautiful excursion. The guide Gabriel gave us an incredible day; the cook at the restaurant cooks like the gods. We were lucky to see whales at the place where we started the trek to the Duende waterfall.
We made the "Centolla" route by Kaitek Viajes. Our guide was Gabriel, a responsible person, friendly and a great professional. He told us about the history of the region’s first habitants, the arrival of the English and details of the fauna and flora. The lunch was in Porto Almanza, in a simple place more pleasant and the food served, of seafood, tasty. The journey ended with a walk along the Cachoeira trail.
Beautiful experience, the guide Luis was spectacular. He tells you about the history and the place. We visited many beautiful sites, enjoyed hot chocolate by the shores of Laguna Victoria, had lunch in Puerto Almanza where we were very well attended, and the food was very delicious.
