Amazing experience, great guide. If we had more time in bajos del toro I would have booked another tour with them!

I did the Jurassic Canyon tour with Ecotours and had an incredible experience truly one of the best hikes I've ever done, and I'm an avid hiker who's completed hundreds of trails. Our guide, Christian, went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt safe and had the best possible experience. He also captured amazing photos and videos for us, which made the whole day even more special. 1000% recommend this tour! I did the Jurassic Canyon tour with Ecotours and it was an amazing experience definitely one of the best hikes I've ever done, and I'm a frequent hiker and have traveled hundreds of routes. This was our favorite experience of our entire trip to Costa Rica. The pictures don’t do it justice! My daughter and I had an amazing time and Christian was the absolute best guide.

Amazing hike and amazing guides! I was so worried I wasnt going to be able to make it in time as I had to turn back to the hotel before meeting up. I was able to reach out to him on our hotels phone and they waited until we arrived. GPS given took us straight to the meet up spot. Everyone is waiting on the side of the road so you cant miss it. We speak only a little bit of Spanish but language was no barrier. He did so great at making sure we saw what we needed to see, stepped where we needed to step, looked where we needed to look. We had a good amount of time at each Waterfall. Plenty of time to enjoy. The hike itself wasnt hard. My friend doesn't hike at all and she did fine. But the challenging part is the paved road in and out. Its very steep for a good 1.5 or so miles

Overall the hike was good, and the waterfall was worth the long walk. If you don’t speak Spanish, do not expect an actual guide as they provided us a walker who could not speak English. From what I have heard and my personal experience it sounds like this is normal. It’s a guided walk, not a tour guide which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I was drawn to Costa Rica and the Bajo del Toro area specifically because of the gorgeous waterfalls. I found this small tour company through Instagram and was able to conveniently book a guided tour to Jurassic Canyon. I went with a group of 13 and although we had multiple groups of people, Marcos made sure everyone was comfortable and safe! He even held my heavy bag as we made our way up the super steep road back to our cars. I highly recommend this company and getting to see these waterfalls for yourself! It was the highlight of my Costa Rica trip! 🇨🇷😊
