We had an amazing time on the Comuna 13 tour! The street art, local food, panoramic views, and cable car ride made for a fantastic experience. Juan was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, fun, and engaging throughout the tour. He shared fascinating insights about the history and transformation of the area, making it both educational and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Medellín!
Communa 13 walking tour was an experience anyone should not missed! Our tour guide Juan was passionate, informative, and proud of how far the community has come. Having a resident of Communa 13 as our tour guide, you get a first hand account as to how the people moves on with their lives despite its dark history. The community now has a colorful, vibrant, welcoming, and living energy, quite the contrast from its tragic past. I highly recommend to take the tour to those who are thinking of visiting Medellin. Thanks Juan for a wonderful tour! You are brilliant!
The Comuna 13 tour was an absolute highlight of my trip to Medellín! Our guide Hector was fantastic, knowledgeable, deeply passionate about sharing the neighborhood's powerful history and transformation, and incredibly patient. He never rushed us, giving us plenty of time to take photos, buy souvenirs, and ask questions. The tour itself was packed with incredible moments: from the cable car ride with a great view, to seeing the beautiful, giant statues and admiring the different arts, including vibrant murals and graffiti, artwork illusion and energetic dance performances. The live rap session was a massive standout that I will never forget. We tried the tasty local snacks, had delicious drinks and ice cream, then we ended the day with refreshments and a panoramic view of the city. If you visit Medellín, this tour is a must, and Hector is the perfect guide! I highly recommend
