The train journey from Colombo to Badulla is one of the most scenic and beautiful train journeys in South Asia and it creates a super adventurous feeling through lush green tea plantations, waterfalls and tunnels Enhancing its charm, the Dunhinda Odyssey tourist train provides brief stops at iconic tourist attractions, allowing travelers to capture stunning photos and videos. This train operates on a fixed schedule, running every Thursday and Saturday from Colombo Railway Station to Badulla Station. The train starts its journey from Colombo Railway Station at 0530 hrs and the train reaches Badulla at 1730 hrs. Also, the most scenic part of the train journey is from Nanu Oya to Ella and we facilitate our clients to book 1st class AC compartment, 2nd class and 3rd class non-AC reserved seats. Important Notes: Tickets must be booked at least 30 days in advance of the travel date. Specific window seats, train side preferences (left or right), or nearby seating cannot be guaranteed.
