The places and the views were amazing. We were really surprised how beautiful Colombo is. It is made memorable by Ushan Croos who explained in details what are we looking for. He was very patient answering all our question and he went out of his way to make us comfortable. We couldn't ask for a better guide and driver.
Great tour. Our tour guide, Pradeep, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions I had for him; a rare occurrence in my experience. The company was also very accommodating and well-communicating when our boat didn't port where we had anticipated.
We were picked up on time from the cruise terminal and the guide and driver were very friendly and knowledgeable. They took us to all the main sights in Colombo and were more than happy to include any other sights that we might have suggested.
This was a very enjoyable and informative tour and great value for money. Using a car is a better way to see the city sights. The company was very efficient in setting up the tour. Our driver,John, proved to be an excellent guide who really knew his stuff. We will be recommending him to friends who are visiting Sri Lanka next year.
Our tour guide Mangala was brilliant! He was on time, friendly, spoke excellent English and took us yo all the amazing things to see in Sri Lanka. He was a great driver, vehicle was air conditioned, he had, water and wifi for us!! He was very flexible and added in everything we wanted, we just had toask. He had a lovely smile and was very kind!! Highly recommend this wonderful tour guide and this tour in general!!

Our guide Denver (viatour) was super friendly spoke great English and was a great guide . He took us to some beautiful churches and temples, Ghandi’s home and a tour of the city. We had a great day loved Columbo it’s so clean and not hectic and would highly recommend this tour and especially Denver.
This tour was amazing! We were blown away by the knowledge Shiraz brought to the experience. We also really enjoyed hanging out with him! The tour was seamless, he picked us up from our Airbnb and took us all over the city, stopping so we could get photos and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this tour, and if you get Shiraz, you’re in for a treat!
We first found this company years ago and had to cancel due to Covid - No issues with refund - very prompt. This time we had an 8 person tour in a nice air conditioned van with both a driver and a guide. It was the culmination of many weeks of whatsapp messages where Raj (from S L by car) and I worked out the Who, Where, What, and How. Raj was attentive, co-operative and friendly and built my confidence as time went by with great and reliable communication. No problem with payment. Our cruise ship was late docking and Raj and I swapped regular whatsapp messages organising a change of time and a "just in time" reprogrammed tour. Raj has a ten out of 10 rating for his patient and efficient communication. Thank you my new friend Raj. All the pressure of 8 people getting to a port gate was relieved when Shimaz our guide approached us promptly with a ready smile and great communication. Shimaz sought us out - identification (blue hat held high) was pre arranged and we didnt have to find him. We were able to speak frankly with Shimaz about our preferences and emphasis for our party and nothing was too much trouble. The tour was a great balance of driving and walking and every request was met with Shimaz "can do" attitude. Nothing was too much trouble - everything was easy. Shimaz showed clear (English) communication and also showed he was experienced and most accommodating. Shimaz went the extra mile with everything. Highlights were the fruit delacacies purchased by Shimaz and his fantastic photo's he took of our various activities. I say fantastic because the equipment and skill Shimaz applied to his photography was far beyond anything we could do ourselves and Shimaz sent us multiple photo's and montage(s) within 24 hours of returning to our ship which were excellent keep sakes. Without exception all of our 8 person party were thrilled with the tour and the Shimaz as our guide. We could ask for nothing better from these fine ambassadors for Sri Lanka By Car. Our guide/driver, Jamal, was a pleasure. We saw some fascinating sights and a significant piece of the city, as well. We loved that we had a private tour. We were met and returned directly at our cruise ship.

<p>Really good trip. Met straight off the ship and then driven out of the port to meet our driver for the day, Rangit. Really nice guide who was happy to take us to all the places we wanted to see and didn't put any pressure on us to visit the shops that were on his schedule. Dropped back off outside the port but were able to get a shuttle bus back to the ship. The trip included a visit to a Buddhist Temple/Museum which was absolutely breathtaking.</p>
