Have a seat in this beautiful traditional restaurant, and try one of their signature dish: Bibalakas Fermier! Made with cream and herbs such as garlic, chives, and parsley, it originated on small Alsatian farms where families prepared it from fresh morning milk. Really good food with a mixed variety of different local food. Provides a good combination of food culture and city history. Very quiet and friendly guide who knows well about the city.
JP did an amazing job with the Colmar tour. He showed us many sites and explained the history. The food stops were great and helped understand the area better. Highly recommend this tour snd ask for JP.
Miriam was excellent tour guide! This was our first day in Colmar and she took us to the most popular areas around the old city! Also she introduced us to the Alsace food, deserts and customs. Lots oh history about the region and the influences between German and French cultures! We had multiple stops and ate traditional cheese, cookies, wine tasting and a nice dinner to a local restaurant!! Strongly recommended to have this food and walking tour!
We always try to do one tour with a local when we travel. Myriam was a perfect guide. Not only did she hit the highlights with typical Alsatian food, she had so much knowledge of the town and area. She exceeded our expectations and finished with a great tarte flambee meal!
Basically a nice idea, if we hadn't already tried most of the tour ourselves without any knowledge. I find it still has some potential for improvement and is rather priced a bit too high. It may also have to do with the fact that we come from a nearby country and these dishes are mostly known to us as well.
