Cocora Valley Tour and Coffee Farms
Description
We started in Salento Quindío meeting point with the guide to board the transport that would take us to the Cocora Valley. Where our adventure will start walking through the artificial attractions with time for photos: The chieftain hand, butterfly, jeep, net, nest, Cocora signs, condor wings among others. But hiking with guide to the mountain viewpoint with breaks to see and know through explanations and environmental interpretation the entire Cocora Valley and its lush forests of wax palms to descend to transport. Finally, we make the route with the transport through the different coffee farms seeing the coffee plants and cultural landscapes until we arrive at the Buenos Aires farm, where we will be welcomed with a delicious peasant lunch and then dress up in typical costume and start with the collection, explanation of grinding, catchment among other stages of the tour to return new mind to Salento where the Pasadía ends.

Our tour guide Nicholas was really friendly and great. He knew everything about Salento. We did little walk on cocora valley but reach every where we should go and take beautiful pictures. The coffee farm tour was very informative and worthy to go also. Lunch is great too. We really enjoyed this tour.
We had an awesome day touring the Cocora Valley and a coffee farm. The views were stunning and the coffee tour was super interesting. Our guide Nicolás was great —really knowledgeable and easygoing. He made the whole day feel relaxed and fun. Definitely recommend this tour and Nicolás!
We did several tours 3 different days, Cocora with horseback riding, Finca Buenos Aires and Filandia with transfer to the airport. It was a good idea to contact them by whatsap and they organized everything. The best choice in terms of price and flexibility for small group of 7. They were all facilities from the first contact. Super professional guides and drivers. All great professionals especially Alvaro. They have an office in downtown Salento and when we arrived we went to reconfirm contracted services and plan schedules at our convenience and pleasure.
Our tour operator Gustavo was an excellent guide. The tour was perfect and the experience on the jeep really funny. Having a private transportation was essential during the day. We saw people waiting more than an hour to get on a jeep/bus. We are happy about our chiose.
The tour is as described. The guides provided very detailed information. Sunscreen and mosquito repellent recommended.
We really enjoyed our day out ! There was a festival in Salento so doing this tour we managed to miss some of the crowds! Lunch was delicious! Coffee farm was great but take bug spray as the mosquitos bite if they like you.
Nicholas was a good guide who showed us great views of Cocora Valley and the Buenos Aires coffee farm. The lunch was delicious as well. Don’t miss out on standing up in the Willy jeep and taking in the breathtaking views of Salento and the valley.
Nicolás and Frendy were both amazing. They let us take our time and enjoy the beauty of the cócora valley, they were super friendly too! I would definitely recommend them! The tour in the coffee farm was very good as well, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, we learned a lot about coffee! The lunch was included and it was delicious!
This was the perfect tour for our limited time in Armenia. The tour company was excellent and allowed us 5 min grace period in the morning since our taxi was late and we hit a lot of traffic getting to the meeting spot. The tour included a great hike allong the Cocora Valley followed by traditional lunch and finally a stop at a coffee farm for tasting and tour of the coffee making process. Our tour guide Cesar was AMAZING!! He is so knowledgeable and friendly. He really made this experience unforgettable. He was very patient with all the photos we wanted to take and answered all our questions. I would 1000% recommended this tour to anyone who wants to visit the Valley and the coffee farms. Even with limited time, Cesar made it work. They are awesome!
Great tour would really recommend. We had Cesar for the trip and he was a great guide, informative and helpful. This is worth every penny.
