Description
It is referred to as the tourist route because of services available on the way to the summit. Unlike other routes, it is relatively easy, has low success rate because many unfit people attempt Kili trek via this route and fail, it is a popular route and accommodation is in huts. It is preferred by many trekkers. It is also beautiful. It is the easiest and shortest route. Ascent and descent are done on the same path.

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be picked up and transferred to Springlands Hotel or similar for an overnight bed and breakfast. You will meet your guided brief about your tour for the next day and collect equipments Overnight at Springlands Hotel (bed and breakfast) or Similar.

Our experience was 10/10. Our guide Eli was very knowledgeable and looked after us throughout the trip. The whole team from Eli and Claus to the cooks and porters made sure we never needed anything and did all the hard work with a smile on their faces. We could not have reached the summit without them.

I had an excellent experience doing the Machame Route (6 days) with World Adventure Tours. Our tour guides, Eli and Claus, were fantastic and made our trip both enjoyable and safe. Our porters were fantastic and worked really hard to ensure we were comfortable at camp. The food was brilliant everyday, it was varied and nourishing. Overall, I had an amazing trip and would recommend this company to anyone considering climbing Kilimanjaro.

Great Guide, his name was Munis. Very experienced and lovely guy with a great team. Me and my friend managed to get to the top within 5 days. Resort has everything you need. I would recommend bringing more than a minimum requirement for tips in dollars as getting access to cash is hard work. The springs the next day was a great difference to chill out as well.

The tour up Kilimanjaro was super organized and was conducted by a very competent guide. In addition, there was always fresh food. The tent was big enough for two people. Overall a very nice experience.

Our 6-day trek up Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route was an absolutely incredible experience, made even more special by our amazing guide, John, and his assistant, Issa. From start to finish, they provided expert guidance, motivation, and unwavering support, ensuring that we had the best chance of reaching the summit. John’s deep knowledge of the mountain, his patience, and his ability to keep us motivated through the tough moments made all the difference. Issa was equally fantastic, always there to lend a helping hand and encourage us with his positive attitude. The right balance of challenge and comfort on the Marangu route. The trail was not busy and overall quite clean. The huts are great and helped keep equipment dry. The guide was Dustin and he was very attentive to my needs, health and overall experience. With his support I made it to the peak! The Springlands hotel staff are very helpful. Amadeus in reception was always ready to help, Jack is an exceptional waiter at the restaurant and Linda was a great coordinator. Also Jane helped me navigate some communication between the hotel and the tour operator. Although there were a few communication problems, World Adventure Tours acknowledged the problem and found a solution in a very fair and reasonable way. I was satisfied with how they dealt with the situation and give them my highest recommendation based on their response. Big thanks to Joyce Gitumbi who went out of her way to ensure I was satisfied with the experience in Tanzania.

We went for 5 days Kilimanjaro in January 2023. We stayed at Spring Land hotel and World Adventure Tours set up the trip. Everything was great! The team at the hotel, and the trekking team with guides, chiefs and porters were all amazing. Very helpful, happy, and very good food. We made it to the summit, and the guides was very helpful and motivated us. The arrangement of the trip was well planned and I recommend travelling with World Adventure Tours if you want a easy and good experience.
