Challenging trek with great guides and support staff.

I am a 75 year old grandmother. This trek was everything I wanted in a physically challenging adventure. The two guides (Fernando and Jose) were great in supporting the varied strengths and skills of our group. Their encouragement and support kept us all going and ending successfully at Macchu Picchu. The porters and support staff were fabulous and kept us warm and well fed. My one suggestion is don’t underestimate the physical stamina required to complete the hike. I also wish the orientation would have happened sooner than the night before we were to begin. But, this was a minor issue compared to the wonderful time that we had.

Bucket list ✅

Family of 4 here with two teens. Amazing Trek, pretty well organized by Quechua and thanks to our guide José he was great. An important thing José really knows how to adapt to a group. Kudos to all the team, chef Umberto for so much good food and the Porters they worked really hard. Be ready for a lot of irregular stairs, but amazing views worthing it. One negative comment, not Quechua's fault, giving the fact that we pay a huge amount to the Park, the campsites specially beginning at the 3rd day would need love. Other than that, really worth the experience, such a challenge !

Incredible trek!

Incredible trek! Our guide, José, was exceptional, knowing when to be present and when to let us experience our moments. He did everything possible to ensure this experience was memorable for our family. Thanks to Chef Umberto, we ate very well throughout the trek.

Challenging but achievable hike

Our guide, Fernando, did a great job managing a group of eight. The hike itself is a good balance of being challenging enough to test the limits of your endurance while leaving a bit of mental and physical powers to enjoy the views. Porters and chefs are the unsung heroes of the hike

A spectacular experience with Jose' and the Quechuas Team

This was a truly memorable experience led by Jose' and his team of wonderful porters. Everything was fantastic and all details were handled by Jose' and the Quechuas Team. What sets this company apart is the attention to detail and personal care that they offer for the 4-day Classic Hike. I was joined by my wife so we had a lot of personal care and attention over the course of the hike. The food was also excellent and the camping experience was extra special with waking up to spectacular views after a good night's rest. Thank you again to Jose' and the team and we hope to see you again soon.

Best Inca Trail 4 days with Quechuas Expeditions

We just arrived from the 4 day hike along the Inca Trail with Quechuas Expeditions and my family quite liked the organization of the trekking, from the communication before the trip to the moment we arrived at Machu Picchu. We met Peru for the first time and celebrated a birthday with our guides at the camp. 100% recommend this travel agency in Cusco.

Classic Inca Trail with Quechuas Expeditions

We traveled the Classic Inca Trail in January with a small group of friends, and we truly loved the entire experience. The trail itself was incredible, and having a guide who supported us throughout the journey made all the difference. Over the four days, everything was well organized, punctual, and handled with great professionalism. We came away with a wonderful impression of Cusco and the magical city of Machu Picchu. We would be happy to travel with you again in the future. Thank you very much, Quechuas Expeditions.

Traveling Cusco with a Trusted Local Operator

I spent several months preparing for my trip to Cusco, and I was recommended Quechuas Expeditions because they are a Peru tour operator that works with local guides, so I decided to travel with them! It turned out to be the right choice. I felt supported at all times thanks to the professionalism and warmth of the guides. I would definitely travel with them again to explore other destinations in Peru.

Had a great time with Quechuas Expeditions

We had a great time hiking the Inca Trail with Quechuas Expeditions. It is a tough hike but well worth it for the views! Our guide Fernando was very experienced and helped make the trip unforgettable. Chef Armando cooked amazing lunches and dinners and it was nice to try out all the different Peruvian cuisine, and the porters were all friendly and willing to help however they could. Fernando also kept in contact to make sure we made it through the bus / train / taxi rides back to Cusco which is a nice touch.
