Classic Boutique Halong Bay Cruise 2 Days 1 Night – All Inclusive

Our guide is really friendly, speaks perfect English and is very enthusiastic. The boat is fantastic, with perfectly equipped and clean cabins, and the food is even better than expected.

The boat was small, capacity 22 passengers. But it gave a very nice feeling of personal bonding. The cabins were spacious, clean and well attended. Overall a good stay. The VIP cabin I had was excellent. Language problem is there so communication is a big hassle.

We went on a 3-day Halong Bay cruise as part of our honeymoon trip in Vietnam, and that was great. Three days is, imho, is a better choice than a shorter trip, as Day 2 was absolutely fantastic, we went cycling in a nice village, we were swimming and kayaking in beautiful places, and it was nice to spend the second night on the ship with the familiar crew. The ship is not big, btw, so it feels pretty intimate. La Paci is a good choice, very nice food, all nicely organised, super friendly and helpful staff, especially our guide Ben! If you have a chance to go with Ben, do it! Such a funny and professional guy. He gave us a feeling that we were visiting a lovely friend.

We were a group of 10 and occupied 5 cabins. The boat was in good order, the crew friendly, helpful and good company. We stayed in places where there were few boats. As former long-term residents of Vietnam we had been on Cat Ba frequently and were already familiar with the area -- the boat took us to some of the standard places, but not only. Food was best when it was vietnamese. The prices for drinks are, however, stiff, if you are used to vietnamese prices.

Me and my partner had a lovely tome on our 3 day cruise. The boat was amazing and to a high standard, rooms were clean, pretty and great facilities-even a stocked fridge! The day tours were great, we loved the freedom to explore via kayak especially! The food was great, 4/5 course lunch and dinner and a lot of buffet choice for breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating, particularly the tour guides. Pheobe and Sarah were outstanding guides, they went above and beyond to meet all the guests needs, to create a fun and happy environment and had such great knowledge of Ha Long Bay, Vietnam and great spoken English! Pheobe taught us some Vietnamese and a lot about their culture! Would highly recommend this tour!!

Me and my partner had the best time on this trip! The boat was what we expected and the trips were amazing! Both our tour guides were amazing too we had Sarah and Phoebe, we did not get to spend as much time with Sarah tho because we was on the 3 day 2 night but she was lovely, spoke great English and had great knowledge of Vietnam, she is a very good and special tour guide! We had Phoebe as our tour guide mainly and she was so so so good. Her English was amazing, great knowledge of Vietnam, absolutely hilarious and a great sense of humour. We really had an amazing time anyway but we spent one of the nights sat talking to Phoebe and what a lovely person she is!!! I’m not sure who will read this but if you are her manager she is truly an exceptional tour guide. I think I speak on behalf of me, my partner and the rest of the boat that because of Phoebe we had the best time, and we would all come back on the same tour again (if our tour guides were Phoebe and Sarah) AND also Vietnam, what an experience made amazing by our lovely tour guides and the other staff on the boat! The rest of the boat staff were lovely too, always smiling, always attentive can’t complain one bit about this tour, highly recommend!

A group of friends chose to go with La Paci cruise after a lot of browsing. Paid extra than the general ones available thinking we were paying for a better experience. Day one was okay. There was no safety drill as promised when we started the cruise. Two of of my friends were vegetarian and it was not honoured. One was non vegetarian but I was not given any non veg while my neighbours were given the same. Then they apologized and don't give us any desert as they "ran out of it" phew !! Day two was a bigger disaster. We were taken to a point in a nice boat by Mr.Eagle our manager and asked to use the kayaks to reach some island without giving any proper instructions.Not realising it was the end of the bay where the rough seas start another passenger and me were on a kayak. The rapids took us into deep seas where warning signs were put up . We had no control of the kayak.Tried shouting for help, blowing the whistle, asking for help any which way. No lifeguard,no manager,no human in sight for over an hour. Was completely shattered by this experience until some American people helped us out . So irresponsible and absolutely no safety measures from La Paci. I suggest please don't take such chances. The hostess Phoebe was not at all apologetic and instead defending their stance. NEVER Ever suggest this cruise to anyone.
