Not As Advertised. Route was not as advertised. Advertised as New Jersey July 3rd Parade of Historic Ships. No tall ships, no historic ships. Boat simply circled Battery Park. Be aware...if special event Confirm the actual route before purchasing. do not trust the advertising.
We were not able to join the cruise because we were given a different pick up location. I received an email from Viator instructing me to go to 1500 Harbor Blvd Weehawken, NJ . We came to that location but to no avail. No ship no one was there. I called and I was told that the pick up location changed to 80 Audrey Zapp Dr Jersey City, NJ. Of course we missed it!!!! This is so wrong!!!! Then they won’t reschedule our date and no refund too!! What a ripoff.. Never book your day cruise with this company… VIATOR!!
Viator gave me the wrong address to the cruise and we never boarded the boat. My partner’s birthday was ruined, and I am extremely dissatisfied.
Very nice experience for me and my family. Would definitely do it again. Wish it was longer. We will book a longer one next time
Nice cruise experience. Wonderful staff. Made it a memorable one! They also served good food and gave nice photographs at the end of the cruise.
Our server charisma was very nice . The lunch buffet was great. The food tasted very good. We had a great time. A lot of fun.
What a terrible experience for my wife and friends. My wife was on her way to a bachelorette party that was going on this cruise and they ran into traffic that made their journey take an extra 40 minutes. Despite that, they managed to get there only 8 minutes late with people who were there ahead of them pleading with staff for them to wait which they agreed to. Apparently 8 minutes was the cut off point and they decided once they got there it was no longer an option for them to board late even though the boat was still docked. The employee was rude and did not give my wife and friends an explanation as to why they could not board the boat that was still there. 12 minutes later the boat took off without them and my wife and her friends had paid for an experience that they drove 2 hours to and were denied entry to. I could understand if the boat was leaving or gone already, but to have them wait for 12 minutes with the boat still there and then leave is no way to treat paying customers. To say they would wait and then let them get there and turn them away is simply bad customer service and no way for a company that sells experiences to operate. I’d recommend you take your business to one of the other river cruise companies because this one does not care about you, they just want your money.
Hi Chris, we're truly sorry to hear about your wife and friends' experience. We value your feedback and will be looking into this matter further to prevent similar situations from happening in the future. We appreciate your honesty and hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future.
Best cruise ever. Very good food and we danced to good music. A great experience. We came in from Texas and had no regrets. Wow.
The weather was beautiful and staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was unfortunately not good but still had a good time. We know we weren’t going for the food. . Probably wouldn’t go again.
