Cinque Terre Daytime Boat Tour : escape into beauty and color

Our boat tour with Shakti was one of the highlights of our trip to Cinque Terre and an experience we'll remember for a long time. One of the best things about this tour is the size of the boat. Unlike the much larger boats carrying huge groups of people that we saw throughout the day, this luxiourous boat felt much more relaxed, personal, and exclusive. It created a calm atmosphere where everyone had plenty of space to enjoy the incredible coastline. We were incredibly fortunate to see dolphins swimming alongside the boat, playing in the waves just a few meters away. What made the experience even more special was how respectful the crew were towards the dolphins. They never chased or disturbed them, allowing the animals to approach naturally, which made the encounter feel even more memorable. As it was my birthday, the crews and my partner arranged a little surprise for me, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the day even more special. It's little touches like this that really set the tour apart. Throughout the trip we visited all of the Cinque Terre villages while learning lots of interesting facts and local history. Both of them were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone was included. There were two small groups on board, one at the front and one at the back, and both crew members ensured that everyone received the same information and attention. Wine and soft drinks were available throughout the tour, and the crew regularly topped up our glasses before we even had to ask. The snacks they served were also delicious and made the experience even more enjoyable. These thoughtful details made us feel genuinely looked after. We also stopped for a swim in the clear water surrounded by plenty of fish, which was a refreshing break. The fresh-water hose on board to rinse off the salt afterwards was another small but appreciated touch. The food provided was enjoyable and perfectly suited the trip. Overall, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. The combination of a small group, stunning scenery, knowledgeable crew, thoughtful service, and unforgettable dolphin encounter made this one of the standout activities of our holiday. We would highly recommend Shakti to anyone looking for a more personal and relaxed way to experience the beauty of Cinque Terre.

Shakti boat tours was recommended by our hotel, the Park Argento. Loved the tour and the two operators. Also enjoyed the breaks to swim and the spritz and food. The fish are clear, the water is clear and salty. This was the best thing we did on our trip to Italy during the heat wave.

We did the day tour with my toddler and had such a great time. I asked a million questions while booking and they were super friendly about answering all of them. They even got a life jacket to fit my daughter so she could go swimming. We were able to sit in the shade and it wasn’t too hot despite 37 degree weather because of the frequent swimming stops. The snacks and drinks were all so delicious as well. I highly recommend Shakti Boat Tours! Thank you!

What an absolute gem of an experience! From the views to the guides to the food, we thoroughly enjoyed the Shakti Boat Tour of Cinque Terre. The custom Italian made boat was absolutely perfect with a quiet hybrid engine. Plenty of space to be out in the open or under cover depending on what’s preferred. The cheese, fruit and various focaccia along with the drinks provided local flavor. We would absolutely do this tour again if we return to Cinque Terre in the future.

My wife and I took the sunset afternoon trip. The timing was perfect from 5:30 PM to 9 PM! The trip was beautiful and well organized with a highly prepared team that was available for any request. The boat was excellent and very clean. Highly recommended.
