Itinerary
Monterosso is the largest of the Cinque Terre villages, known for its long sandy beaches, crystal-clear water, and the contrast between its historic center and the seaside Fegina district. From the boat, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of its waterfront, colorful homes, and lively coastline.
Often considered the most picturesque Cinque Terre village, Vernazza stands out for its vibrant marina, cliffside homes, and the Church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia rising directly from the water. From the sea, you can also admire the Torre del Belforte overlooking the harbor.
Perched high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only Cinque Terre village without a port, offering dramatic terraces and panoramic views over the coastline. Seen from the water, its elevated position and sweeping vistas make it one of the most striking stops on the tour.
Manarola is famous for its terraced vineyards, colorful houses, and scenic location at the northern entrance of the Via dell’Amore. From the boat, you’ll see the village rising above the sea, surrounded by one of the region’s most historic wine-producing landscapes.
Known for its tall, brightly painted houses stacked along steep hillsides, Riomaggiore is one of the most iconic Cinque Terre villages to view from the water. Its rugged coastline, marine protected area, and the starting point of the Via dell’Amore make it a highlight of any boat tour.

Wonderful experience! Tom was an excellent guide, he shared a lot of very interesting facts about the Cinque Terre and was an excellent host. Our swim in the sea was amazing. The boat was incredibly comfortable. Definitely one of our favorite excursions on our trip to Rome, Florence and Cinque Terre!
Excellent experience all around. The weather was a little rough, and we expected the trip might get cancelled. The communication was pitch perfect.... The staff contacted me (Whatsapp and text) the day before and gave me some excellent options, and we were able to reroute to do the boat tour on the La Spezia side. In some ways it was better than seeing the Cinque Terre towns, in part because Captain Tom was a great guide. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pesto and focaccia were good and we got to see all the islands! It was just really fast with not a lot of detail - but otherwise a great time.
The boat tour was a highlight of our trip to Cinque Terre. It was a beautiful way to see the five villages. Our captain was Tom, and he was really great! We loved the homemade focaccia and pesto! E would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Cinque Terre!
Visiting the Cinque Terre by sea by private boat is the best choice we could make. All thanks to Tom, young very professional, kind, nice, sailing slowly and making stops to make us admire the landscape, descriptions and detailed information, very clear and very useful. Congratulations indeed, you made our visit exceptional! Tasting of scones and homemade pesto absolutely delicious!
