WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! The tour guide appeared sick and kept coughing all in the bus and more importantly we had a crash on the way to Christ the Redeemer. The driver was told to slow down multiple times and was on the wrong side of the road causing the collision. My friend, partner and I hit our heads causing bruising, headaches, broken sunglasses and small graze on leg and swelling to the face. The WORST thing is we were not offered any compensation, hospital, or even a drink. Instead, we got a replacement bus which had a huge cracked windscreen. Further evidence of the poor quality to the tour. We saw multiple other tours who all appeared safe and happy. Would NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Very expensive experience to pay for your own injury. The operator was also very difficult to speak to requesting any compensation. He even wrote to Viator before I lodged a complaint stating for them to not provide compensation. Turistando RJ is a no go for any travellers wanting a safe experience.
