This is a wonderful day for your private trip. Your dedicated car driver and English tour guide accompany you throughout the journey, and you don't need to bring any money. No need to get up early, your car will pick you up at the hotel lobby at 10 am, and the first stop is to meet the giant pandas and other animals at Chongqing Zoo. Wander narrow Ming-Qing lanes beneath swaying scarlet lanterns, framed by weathered wooden architecture. Savor Chongqing’s fiery hotpot, honey-drenched Mahua twists, and teahouse brews accompanied by Sichuan opera melodies. The People’s Liberation Monument (Jiefangbei) is a historic and cultural symbol blending wartime legacy with modern vitality, It is one of the must-see attractions in Chongqing. Originally built in 1941 as the "Spiritual Fortress" to inspire resistance during WWII, it was renamed in 1950 to commemorate China’s liberation. Its octagonal concrete structure features four clock faces and a spiral staircase leading to an observation deck, reflecting a fusion of wartime resilience and architectural ingenuity. Today, it anchors Chongqing’s busiest commercial district, surrounded by skyscrapers, luxury malls, and vibrant street life. At night, the monument glows like a beacon, while its plaza hosts festivals and New Year countdowns drawing thousands. Our next stop is the iconic Chongqing People's Auditorium. As the cultural heart of the city, the Auditorium faces the lively People's Square—a great spot to observe local life—and sits directly across from the Three Gorges Museum. If you’re looking for a tour in Chongqing come to these guys, I had an amazing time with them. Perfect for groups and solo traveling. I was solo traveling so basically had a private tour to myself. Got shown around the best and must see spots in Chonqqing. Excellent and friendly service from booking to the actual day. Andy and Erica were amazing very knowledgeable and helpful, as someone who doesn’t read Chinese they were a lifesaver even took me to some other spots which weren’t on the itinerary which was very kind and thoughtful of them.
This was an amazing trip. Our tour guide Alex took good care of us throughout the trip. We were surprised when we saw the 22nd floor below from the first floor of Kuixing Tower. Chongqing, as the largest city in the world, is different from other plain cities in China with its unique topography and culture. Alex took us to not only enjoy the magnificent night view, but also avoid the crowded flow of people. We were lucky enough to see the drone show. Alex also took us to experience the special food of Chongqing. I like the local beer in Chongqing very much. You must try it.
It was an extraordinary experience. I strongly recommend that you don't eat too much for breakfast because there are many delicious local snacks. Before this, I thought Chongqing only had spicy food, but there are many non-spicy special snacks, such as fried dough twist, peach slices, and glutinous rice cakes. Our tour guide Ning was very considerate and humorous. He always considered every detail for us, except for wet wipes and even knives and forks. Erica was very friendly and took a lot of beautiful photos for us. Chongqing is a very interesting city for me, with amazing night views, complex terrain and delicious food. If you can eat spicy food, you must try Chongqing hot pot, which is the birthplace of hot pot.
