We actually used the tour company three times. Our first driver was Mr. Big who drove us from Chaing Mai to Chiang Rai; the second driver was with Mr. Chon who drove us to the Golden Triangle from Chiang Mai and back and lastly, with Mr. Udom from Chiang Rai back to Chiang Mai. The Transfers between Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai and back to Chiang Mai were unique as you can select a few sites to visit that are along the route. So, instead of one long, boring transfer, it is like a tour with multiple stops which helps break up the monotony of the journey. If you have 2-3 people to share the costs, it is definitely worth the extra money. All drivers we had were very nice and polite and drove safely. Although their English were limited, we were able to communicate without much difficulty. Highly recommended.
