After picking up all guests at their homes, our tour starts at 7 am, we will go via the Calera to appreciate a panoramic view of the north of Bogota in the viewpoint, we will contemplate the beautiful landscapes of the Sabana de la Capital, then we will arrive at our first destination: The Colonial Town of Guatavita at 830 am, where we will be for 45 minutes, there we walk and appreciate the imposing white houses, with clay roofs and stone floors. Every corner of this beautiful place will be ideal for taking spectacular photos. To reach our second destination, we will take our vehicle and after 35 minutes of travel we will arrive at the entrance of La Laguna de Guatavita, it is a guided tour in a narutal reserve, a Spanish-speaking guide will take you for a walk after two hours, he will explain the ancient rituals of the Muisca culture and take you to contemplate the Impressive Laguna de Guatavita located on top of a mountain at almost 3000 meters high. If any of the members of the group wants translation in English, they must pay at the entrance of our bilingual driver who will translate the tour for you. Our third destination is the Sabana de Bogota, which is not a specific site, on the contrary, it is the combination of all the landscapes that you will have the opportunity to see throughout the journey from when you leave Bogota until you return back to your hotel. It is an area that brings together many towns in the region, you will see valleys, different types of trees, animals, local vegetation, flowers of different colors and shapes, lagoons among others. After traveling for over an hour through the Bogota savanna, we finally arrived at our fourth stop: the town of Zipaquira, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local restaurant serving typical Colombian food. Luego de viajar por mas de una hora por la Sabana de Bogota finalmente hemos llegado a nuestra cuarta parada: El pueblo de Zipaquira, allí degustaremos un delicioso almuerzo en un restaurante local con comida típica Colombiana.
Last but not least, we will finally arrive at our 5th stop, The Zipaquira Salt Mine, called the First Wonder of Colombia. The Cathedral Salt Mine becomes one of the most important tourist destinations, it is a former salt mine that has been converted to a cathedral. You descend to the cathedral depths and you arrive to the great central dome where is possible to see the biggest cross underground, the greatest hall for the ceremonies of the cathedral and a nice boulevard. Besides, you might see the other atracctions such Cathedral Light Show, movie about the mine and the water mirror among others. You spend around 2 hours inside by your own. After we drive back to Bogota for over one hour driving and I'll drop you off in your hotel. Por último llegaremos a la 5th parada: La Mina de Sal de Zipaquirá, la Primera Maravilla de Colombia. Es uno de los destinos turísticos más importantes, es una antigua mina de sal que ha sido convertida en catedral. 2 horas dentro y regresamos a Bogota.

This tour included a guide and transportation to GUATAVITA, a hike to the lagoon, and transportation to zipiquaria/salt cathedral. The tour brought us to a BBQ restaurant for lunch, and the food was good there. Be aware that the food and entrance to the attractions were not included in the tour.
A great experience, we were able to see the two of the most iconic points in Bogota. Every detail was taken care of. Our lunch place was a great place for Colombian food. Our guide Carlos was excellent. He kept our group together and used out time efficiently. Very highly recommended.
Very good trip, Jefferson is a very good driver and guide. He gave us recommendations and made the trip pleasant. 100% recommended. The itinerary is completely fulfilled.

I give two star review because at the beginning the tour seems to be fine. The agency provided detailed information regarding the tour, answered the question properly and was very patient. The guide was knowledgeable and the tour seems to be very organized despite the long day. However I can’t ignore the disorganization during the drop off process and the lack of accountability. Before everyone was dropped off to the hotel, the bilingual guide got off the bus. The bus driver doesn’t speak a single word of English so that fact alone already added a huge layer of difficulty for tourists like me. When the bus was only 3 minutes away from my hotel, the driver ignored my hotel and drove further away. Some of the peer tourists can speak Spanish, so they tried to talk to the driver that he missed one spot. The driver ignored them and kept going. At that moment I decided to call the guide, who yelled at me rudely in the phone before he finally agreed to talk to the driver. During their phony conversation the driver seemed to be really confused and didn’t realized that he missed my hotel. Then he turned around and sent me back to the hotel after at least 10-20 minutes delay. I contacted the agency raising my concern. To be up front I was not trying to ask for any compensation. I just wanted him to know what happened and acknowledge the issue. The person insisted that “since you got to your hotel safely, there’s nothing wrong on our end”. I clearly stated that if I was not closely watching Google map, the driver might kept driving further and further and totally forgot about my hotel. The agency then claimed that since they had to serve the other guest they can’t continue the conversation with me, and refused to apologize. To the agency, I know you can see this review. I was simply listing the fact, providing the feedback and asking for some acknowledgement. I would like to resolve this privately if you apologized. However your lack of accountability really disappointed me. To the future travelers with them, please make sure you watch closely during the drop off process.

A very interesting tour to see several points of Colombia in a single day; our guide/driver, Jefferson, was always respectful and friendly, and in addition to transporting us, he told us the history of the points along the way, a recommended tour.
We had a wonderful day on this tour! The hike to the lagoon was absolutely worth it, with stunning scenery along the way. Just be sure you’re reasonably fit, as the hike can be a bit strenuous. I also recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a raincoat or umbrella, as the weather can change. It was a long day, but we truly enjoyed every stop on the itinerary. The best was definitely saved for last—the Salt Cathedral was absolutely breathtaking and an unforgettable experience. A big thank you to our driver and our guide (sorry if I got your name wrong!) for taking such great care of us and making the day enjoyable. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
